Here at Chittenango Animal Hospital we have 4 doctors on staff, 4 licensed technicians, any many well-informed staff. We encourage that you call ahead for an appointment to ensure we have enough time scheduled to answer all of your questions. We do offer Pet Portal so you are able to access your pets medical records, request appointments or order your pet products 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, personal check, Visa/ Master Card, and Care Credit.
Services we offer
Flexible Wellness Care including vaccines, nutrition counseling, behavior and training recommendations. Soft Tissue surgery including spays and neuters, tumor removals and abdominal surgeries. Dental Care including evaluations,dental radiographs, cleanings, and extractions. We also offer microchipping, radiology, ultrasound, pain management, senior care, in-hospital and off site diagnostic laboratories.

EVERYONE at Chittenango Animal Hospital was simply wonderful! We never had any doubt that our pup was getting the best possible care. Also they were very up front about cost, giving us a low and a high estimate with an explanation that in the end it would depend on the needs of the patient. As it happened we ended up somewhere in the middle.
As a further testament to the fine care provided, yesterday was a final follow up visit. My wife was concerned that Ava (our dog) would be nervous about going back. Far from it! When Ava saw her caregivers she greeted them with tail wagging and kisses.
We have now received services from both Dr. Cook and Dr. Bongiovanni (sp?) They (and the rest of the staff) are simply excellent! I would recommend them to anyone.
On Friday, September 6, we were at camp and she came up on the losing end of a porcupine. By the time we got back to Syracuse it was nearly midnight and we had to go to the emergency vet on Bridge Street. Chittenango Animal Hospital called me at 9:30 a.m. the next morning - they must have gotten a report - to see how my dog was doing.
I can't say enough good things about this place and thank my neighbor for referring us to Chittenango Animal Hospital. I have been to several other vets in the Eastern Syracuse suburbs over the years, and I can truly say that Chittenango far outshines any of them.
seeing a "boutique" vet and we found the prices outrageous. We switched
to Dr. B and received a thorough examination for my dogs skin condition
and prompt - that day - biposy. Her problem was treated after proper
diagnosis and excellent follow up care. The price was half that of the other vet. We are very pleased with the care our dog receives.
