This is a company is the real deal. I highly recommend Tommy's Trees. Tommy pricing is fair. The service was extraordinary. I had 5 huge tress taken down. Tommy's crew was highly experienced and worked as a team to get the job done safely and efficiently. Tommy sent 3 trucks, a cherry picker, a chipper and a log loader. His investment in his equipment and team is exceptional. Call Tommy, he is the best.

Tommy and his crew along with the necessary equipment of a crane, bucket truck and wood chipper, were early and on time in the morning. There is a fence and they removed only one panel and worked around other landscape to get the job done. They worked thru the day and cleaned up nicely at the end. Price quoted is not inclusive of tax which added another $260. Overall Tommy and his crew were polite and professional. I agree with what another reviewer wrote, that the crew worked well together and got the job done efficiently. We would be very comfortable to hire Tommy Trees again.

A lot of work was done in one day. Tom is reliable and the work went very smoothly from start to finish; excellent cleanup. The crew are punctual and work very well together. We will call him in the future.

Tom called and visited the same day I requested a quoted. Tom and his crew arrived when promised and preformed the agreed to work. Tom is professional, friendly. He and crew left my property clean of debris.

Perfect. Very pleased with the contact I had with Tommy, the service and timeliness and all cleanup after the job. He left behind the wood In log splitting lengths and placed it neatly in piles. Tommy had good suggestions for trimming and things which needed to be done. I would recommend his services!

Very friendly, professional service.  Second time I've used them, and have been completely satisfied both times.  Tommy has always returned my phone calls, came by within a day to two to see the work and give me price.  Today, he and his crew showed up on time, we reviewed the agreed upon work, and his crew then went quickly to the task.  Everything was done, including racking up all the small twigs and leaves from their work, in 4 hours.  Highly recommend Tommy and his crew.

From our very first phone call to the day he came and priced the job - we've been super impressed with Tommy's. They called before arrival and pulled up with nice, clean, new equipment. Even the crewmen were nicely matching and professional looking. My husband and I had to leave right after they arrived for an outpatient surgery so we weren't actually here for the whole event (our son was) but when we pulled up later that afternoon, not only was the big tree gone but there was nary a trace that Tommy's had ever been there. They left the site so completely clean! They left us a portion of the wood as we requested, stacked nicely on the side of the house for us. They even relocated a baby bird's nest complete with eggs to a neighboring bush instead of letting them be destroyed. While they were here, my neighbor hired them to take down a tree or two of his as well and he was also thoroughly happy with their pricing and service. Our yards are so clean with hardly a speck of wood in the grass. I've seen a few other companies around the neighborhood who've left big piles of chipped wood everywhere but not Tommy's. So impressed and I cannot say enough how wonderfully professional they are. Will definitely be using them again next year when we have a few more trees removed from our yard. So happy we found them on Angie's!

Team worked efficiently and very safely when taking down the trees that were  leaning close to the house. Large tree was taken down smoothly. All dedris was taken care

I wasn't home when the the crew came but my interaction with Tommy was very professional. It did take him about 5-6 weeks from the time the estimate was provided to actually coming out to do the job (he told me 3 weeks at the most during the estimate). To be fair there were a number of rainy days that could have made the wait longer. As far as the work done, it was exactly as stated and no mess was left behind. I would recommend them.

I wasn't there when he arrived to trim the tree, as I was at work.  However, when I pulled up to my property, the first thing I noticed was how nicely trimmed the tree was and what a big difference it made.  The tree looks much healthier and I am very happy with the job.

They arrived when they said they would, did a thorough job, with care taken to work safely, and cleaned-up afterward.

Tom and his crew did an excellent job of trimming all the dead limbs that were not strong enough to withstand the bad weather.
Tom advised us of how much you can trim off this particular tree and how it will grow back and look beautiful. The workers were very careful not to hit our fence which is directly under the tree. They did an excellent clean up.
We had various quotes for this work and Tommy Trees price was spot on. We checked online to see what equipment they had because believe it or not some tree guys show up with just a chainsaw! They have the right gear, we checked on their insurance too because if our cedar fence got damaged it would expensive to replace. My advice is do these checks because it pays to have the job done right.

Tommy trees cut a tree off of our home that had fallen during a storm, he chopped it up into large chunks. He then dropped 6 other trees, removed all debris and chopped up into chunks for my husband to split for firewood. We did not have stumps removed. He also came in a trimmed back all the trees that lined our driveway. All this for $1200. Someone else I know used a different company to drop and remove one large tree including grinding the stump, she was charged $800. My parents used a different company to just remove a tree that had fallen on there property, $700. Tommy trees is extremely reasonable and had everything done within 2 weeks of us calling him.

Tommy came over to assess the tree and gave me a quote by phone.  He had a lot of jobs to do (this was in the months post Sandy in NY)  but was sensitive to the fact that my husband and I were very nervous about losing power again, having gone without for two weeks in the aftermath of Sandy.  Tommy got to the tree within 48 hours, charged us exactly what he quoted, and not only took down the tree but removed it without leaving so much as a drag mark on the surroundings.

No one wanted to do this job due to the busy street, the closeness of the tree to power, house, and plantings, and it's size. Went through a number of estimates with other highly rated Tree companies listed in Angies but theirs came in so expensive that there was no doubt that they wanted to be underbid. Called Tommy as his company was next on the list of relatively local companies and he showed up when he said he would. He provided a professional estimate that was what we thought the removal should cost and an estimate for stump grinding at a by the inch cost that confused us. He explained what that meant, gave us an approximate cost and we scheduled the removal and the grinding. The next few weeks were very rainy and the date kept moving which didnt bother us as we only needed a call the night before to make sure someone was in and available. True to his word Tom called the night before his team would arrive. Tom's team arrived early the next day in new trucks and in a kind of uniform. Their equipment was top notch, their set up professional, and the interaction between the team members was sharp and wasted no time. The tree, with a combination of ropes and bucket truck,  began to come down in a highly controlled fashion. The wood was hoisted into a waiting truck and removed from the property very quickly. In no time the huge tree was only a stump in the yard. Power, house, and some expensive and new plantings were all untouched. The grinding took some time but these guys cleaned the copious chips as they went and removed them which we opted for. When they were done cleaning up the grass was still in great shape even after trucks
and workers and flying chips had covered it. This was a professional crew performing a difficult job with great skill and concern and at a reasonable cost to us. We will be using these guys for all our tree work in the future. Highly recommend!!

They were excellent and were very careful on how they did the cutting for where the trees and branches dropped. They were very meticulous and very punctual and showed up when we asked them to.
