After getting an estimate from Johnston's Toyota on my '98 Corolla for this repair ($1,600) earlier last year, I decided to try Orange County Tire and Auto seeing it was rated well here on Angie's List. When they gave me an estimate of $900 including tax I gave them the work. Even though they ran into problems doing the work because of the age of the car, taking an extra 1 1/2 hours over what they anticipated, they stuck to the estimate. Ran it through a NY State inspection there on 3/7/2015 and it passed no problem so I'm very happy with the work. Friendly staff. I would recommend them to others.

Good telephone contact initially to make appointment. They were welcoming and friendly. The work was done well and alignment adjusted as required. My only hesitation in giving a straight A is that I didn't realise the cost of the wheel alignments until paying the invoice! May have been my fault for not listening/looking. Good company, keen to serve and customer focused.

I was driving along in my classic 1988 Chevy Celebrity when another car cut me off. I jammed the brakes but also managed to hit the gas pedal and rev the engine at the same time. When I started up again, it quickly became apparent that my brakes were getting spongier with every tap. I pulled into Orange County Tire & Auto right before closing time. The guys were understanding and took my car in without an appointment. They found a leak right away. (Also, one of the mechanics was a fan of GM A-body cars like mine). They found the parts and fluids necessary for this old car and it has worked fine ever since.

had a coupon for free alignment with purchase of new tires. worked out nicely since I needed both. they were very professional and prompt and I didn't get stuck with any extra hidden charges like I always do when I take my car to the dealership!!

They are the nicest people and greatest mechanics ever. They are so informative and take the time to explain everything to you. They are very honest. Even though I am moving away I will still try and bring my car back to them.
