They were professional. Arrived when they said they would arrive. They conducted themselves very professionally. They do not sub out the work. They people that come to do the work are employed by Big L.

Work was completed professionally and with minimal clean-up. Would recommend to anybody without hesitation.

It went so well. The team sent to me was amazing, so efficient and each excellent at their job.

I had to replace 9 windows in my house unexpectedly and did not budget for it. Had about 12 reputable companies come in and give me estimates before I decided to go with Big L. The reason I went with them anitially was because they were very patient and was willing to work with me to meet my needs within my budget. I did not want to replace my cheap windows with another set of cheap windows, but I couldn't seem to afford a better quality ones until I started working with Big L. At the end I am very glad that I decided to go with them. I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. James was amazing and extrimely patient with helping me to decide on which windows would be right for me. He was available to answer all of my questions and concerns from early mornings to late nights, even on weekends. Norm came in right away to measure, even though there was not time in his schedule. My custom windows arrived earlier then expected. I was very nervous before the installation due to the cold weather and all the potential mess. When John and his crew arrived they were wonderful. They got here on time, worked all day without even a coffee break to make sure that all 9 windows are in and perfect in one day. They even mounted my blinds back on (that was not in their job description). They were very respectful towards me and my home. When they left, I think my house looked even cleaner then before inside and out. My new windows look amazing and it already feels a lot warmer inside. I am extrimely happy with my decision. I am definitely calling them when I am ready to replace my sliding glass door. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and for making my home warmer and cozier for my daughter and I!

Very well! Very professionally done. Very neat. We have a cherry stain on the woodwork in our home. Big L Windows and Doors matched it perfectly!

Price was reasonable. Door is fine. The installers did a great job fitting the door into my 1960 built house--framing was a challenge and they did a great job.

We have used this company several times. Again, they did an excellent job. Travis was incredibly helpful again and did a nice job providing excellent consultation on the project. The install went well. The crew is always professional, punctual, and does great work. We are now finished with all of our window and door replacement And now after three years of work I can honestly highly recommend them.

James came and gave us an explanation of our options and estimate. When we decided to do the job a some came and remeasured to insure accuracy. We requested the work be completed before Christmas and we told they would do their best. They were good to their word. When the guys came to do the work, they were efficient, professional, careful of floors, cleaned y up when finished and completed the job in the time frame stated. I would highly recommend this company.

I knew that replacing all the windows would be a big expense so I got three estimates, all with very good ratings.  One was unbelievably high and two were similar.  I chose Big L based on Angie's List ratings, the fact that it is a local family business where you talk to people who have actually installed windows, and they are available if repairs or adjustments might be needed.   The salesperson discussed all the options and explained the advantages of their products without running down or making up exaggerated criticisms of other companies, as  another company had done. Also I am over 60 and single, and they did not insult me as another company had done by repeatedly asking me if I had a husband or if my children should be in on the decision.
 I decided to go with Marvin fiberglass windows, even though they are more expensive than vinyl, based on appearance and environmental concerns. I got mostly casement windows and the operate effortlessly and, unlike the old ones, swing out enough that they can be cleaned from inside.   It is a lot of money so I don't know how to evaluate the cost (excellent vs. good)  but my old 1960's era windows were in bad shape, I waited years to do something about it,  and I think much of the cost will be recovered in resale value.
 I had to make a slight change in the installation date due to changes in travel plans, and nice woman in the office worked that out for me--it had to be done in one day so they send a double crew of 6 capable, courteous installers who got the entire job done by early afternoon!  My windows look great. The outside trim was offered in several colors and one was an excellent match for existing trim and a better appearance than everything in white.  
They have not gone through a winter yet but I am very confident that they will keep the house more comfortable and quiet.

The install went great...Very professional. The door itself I'm not sure...The blinds inside side lights do not close all the way and do not offer any privacy or keep the direct sun out.

Contacted Jim Turner about the problem and he turned me over to there service tech. This was done by email. Ordered new windows, scheduled to come out to the house and new side lights had same problem. Week later Don Leonard from BenBilt called apologizing and said there is a problem which they knew about and would make right...That was 3 weeks ago and still waiting...I have decided to put my own blinds on inside windows. Todays date 6/27/15...original door install 3/20/15

Very dissatisfied with Big L and BenBilt. I feel Big L ignored me once the got my payment and my salesman also has not heard from since payment was made. Costumer service non existent from both companies...This issue still unresolved...

If had do over I would of went with Anderson...Buyer beware....

This was the best contractor I have ever used; They were prompt, tidy and the job was done to perfection...it was as if they were working on their own home.

A salesman came out to our home, Fritz, he was prompt and prepared, it was the easiest decision we ever had to make on a home improvement project. He had great information and was able to give a fully executed contract at the time of his visit; We received a full packet of information with a scope of the project and what to expect within a week of placing our order; The company came out and did a final measurement and as promised, my project was started on time. 

The installation was difficult, thanks to Buffalo weather, but the installers went WAY OUT of their way to ensure the job was done perfectly. They were polite, professional, promt and neat... it was a pleasure to have them at my house.

This company is 5 stars in our book and would not hesistate to recommend them...
