Chappaqua Septic pumped out our tank every 2-3 years for last 20 years. I had no complaint about their services from what I could actually see. When I googled for their number to make appointment for this year, I learned of the law suit filed against them back in 2009 for illegal dumping near the reservoir (http://www.ag.ny.gov/press-release/attorney-general-cuomo-sues-westchester-company-employee-illegal-dumping-raw-sewage). So I hired another company whose employees told me that it looked as though the tank hadn't been pumped for 10 years! My conclusion is that Chappaqua Septic was not doing a thorough job of pumping all this time.
