It went better then I could have imagined, Kirk changed out battery (which involves a complete tear down on that machine), cleaned the motherboard, case and fans, and replaced the keyboard assembly ( was damaged from having milked spilled on it), and ran a multiple test on my laptop to assure nothing else was wrong. Thank you, works perfect now!

My computer had been crashing over and over, daily. I had another place look at it. That did not turn out well at all and my computer was still crashing after 2 trips back to them and quite a bit of money. I looked here on Angie's List and found iRecoverData. I called Kurt for an appt and got in right away. He had my computer less than 30 hours and its fixed!!!! He found that when the other company reinstalled Windows for me, as a possible fix for my crashing, they never updated anything... motherboard with 2 updates due, all video drivers were not up to date, etc... the list went on and on. I can not thank Kurt enough for the excellent work he did!! I am so relieved to have my computer working again after this 6 month nightmare. I will continue to use Kurt and iRecoverData for all of my computer needs in the future. Thank you Kurt :)

Called for an appointment, and got one for the same day! Dropped computer system off (saving the call out charge). Called me to tell me the virus was very nasty, and actually downloaded additional infections (apparently this is common). Offered to backup the computer and install an antivirus program, as he didn't recommend the one I had installed. Yeah, it was obviously junk as it didn't protect me! It was an extra $90 bucks for the two additional services but I went with it. He explained that with the backup IF I did get infected again, then I could restore the computer myself, and not pay another virus removal charge. Spend $50 bucks to save $120, yeah, sounded good to me.
Computer has been running great ever since.

Kurt is always on time...and knows what he is doing....I have learned a lot just asking questions and watching him complete the  process.
