his work is acceptable but he owes me money from a billing error. i faxed him a photo of bill and tried to reach him many times over the course of a few months and he never answered me. He still has my money. He is un and has no decency. I'd stay away from this handyman.

"Hmmm, 1-½ years later using a false name you leave a negative review. Why 1-½ years later? Why the false name ? I know who this customer is and what this is about. I did work, wrote the bill and at the time of presenting it to get paid I was asked to do more work that she forgot about. I did the work immediately and when it was complete and payment was due I asked if she wanted a new bill which she replied ,no I will just write in the extra work done. The added cost was 100 dollars over the original bill. If something was wrong at that time why wasn’t anything said. Why a negative review 1-½ years later using a false name ???????"

Bill White's work is decent but he owed me money from a billing error. I texted photo of receipt with error, called him several times during the next few months to give him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps he was busy, sick or whatever the case may be and he never responded. He is unreliable, unpredictable and untrustworthy. A man with no decency or honesty. He still has my money.

Bill was truly amazing! I sent him a message late Thursday night. He replied and called me the next day. He said he would be able to install and could come by Saturday. He showed up exactly on time and did the job done in no time. He was extremely professional and friendly. Cost of service was very reasonable. This guy knows his stuff! I highly recommend if you need a knowledgeable handyman. I will definitely be using his services again! Thank you, Bill!

great! will us them for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. UPDATE **** He did do good work on the apartment below me. However he was supposed to do another apartment, but he called back stating he won the lottery and would not be doing the apartment because he is retiring. He said he was not doing any more work. He knew how important it was for me to have the work done, and wish he would at least given me a referral.

Bill came quickly, assessed the repair and improvised a temporary handle using strong tape, then reattached the handle with screws and epoxy. He instructed my mom to use the temporary handle until the epoxy cured. The repair is strong and looks very good as well. Couldn't ask for a better result. Not only is Bill an expert repairman, he is a really nice guy and a pleasure to deal with.

Bill returned our call promptly and came out to take a look. He promised to work up estimates for a few alternative solutions and get back to us. The next morning his list of alternatives was in our mailbox. After we chose the best one for us, we gave him the go-ahead and a very few days later Bill showed up with the new door, trimmed it, painted it with two coats of the correct color paint and then cleaned up completely. Bill also checked the other problem doors in the house, getting them to close properly.

Bill promptly returned my request for assistance and gave me contact details. Upon calling Bill he scheduled a time (the very next day) and worked around my schedule.

Bill scheduled the appointment for the next day. He came at the time he stated. He was very professional and did a thorough job. He cleaned up after himself. When the job was finished he made sure that we tried all the doors to make sure that the work was done properly. I would recommend him to anyone that may need his services.

It went very well. He recommended and bought for me a newer type of faucet that should not be able to freeze like the old one did. He installed it quickly and efficiently despite the fact that I had no light on the inside of the basement where he had to do the installation and the spot was blocked by a drop ceiling so he had to find it and then work in a very tight space.
He spent a lot of time explaining my options and was very professional. I felt the price was more than fair.

When we purchased this 100 year old water view house in mid 2010 many people confided in us that the house was (in their opinion) a tear down.
From the onset we hired several home "contractors" and spent a small fortune in the process. By any other name each of those "contractors" would have been known as Rube Goldberg.
In desperation we hired Bill White in 2014 in an effort to correct much of the shoddy workmanship performed by several of his predecessors.
First; Bill White's monicker, "helpful handyman" is grossly misleading.
Bill White is a consummate, expert CRAFTSMAN worthy of Michael Angelo repute.
His work ethic (quiet, neat, clean, reliable and punctual) are the most professional we've encountered.
Don't be fooled by his low key, quiet demeanor.
We recommend Bill White, Helpful Handiman without the slightest hint of reservation.
Second: We plan to use ONLY he in the future.

Spoke to him again today. He had much personal issues going on. Promised to call me on Wed. He is a very nice, sincere guy and I felt he deserves another chance. We'll see!!!
9/14, I did give him another try and he did an excellent job, saving me purchasing a new window and fan. He was able to order parts and installed them. I am going to use him to redo the main bathroom and he is to begin in two weeks.
