He did an excellent job. I have had him here before and I wouldn't hire anyone else. He came with a mask and gloves to be considerate of the Corona virus times we were in. He does excellent work and I would highly recommend him.

His son came out to do the work and he did a really great job.

Gene's service has always been excellent, and his prices are more than fair. He worked for a former landlord of ours, and we have used his services exclusively since buying our own home over 18 years ago. His response time in emergencies has always been terrific as well. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Work always performed well, fair price, and lovely people.

Being a new home owner Gene Duffy Plumbing was referred by 2 local home owners. In 4 months living here, we have used them for secure installation of washer, dryer, fridge and dish washer. All jobs were at fair price and completed in a timely manner. Through these instances we knew their trustworthiness was proven to perform the major job of heating system replacement. THEY WERE FANTASTIC. Completed the work, ensured the house was left spotlessly clean and walked me through how to request the rebate from National Grid. Could not ask for anything more.

Very well. Extremely efficient and thorough. Only issue was that a helper was constantly trudging through the house, back and forth to the truck wearing work boots on a rainy day. Other than that, very satisfied. Seems reliable too.

We have used Gene Duffy Plumbing since we moved into our house 20 years ago. Always reliable, good service. We have continued to get great service with Gene's son, Tom. He removed a broken toilet and installed a new toilet, and removed all the rust that had formed on the ceramic tile from the old toilet. He and his associate were courteous and professional. After they left we discovered a leak in our basement--totally unrelated to the work he had just done, and he came back the very next day to fix it, much to our relief. He found the source of the leak very quickly and repaired it. Will definitely continue to use their plumbing services.

Servicepeople were very courteous and the work performed was done well. They gouged my kitchen faucet a bit trying to remove it to get to the cartridges, but overall I was happy with the quality of the work for the price I paid.

They used their magic and found all the broken pipes in the house. Worked an entire day and came back the next day to finish up the work.
They cut the walls and replaced all broken pipes.
Very prompt and professional. I would have hoped that closing up the walls would have been part of their service as well but
it wasn't. It's just that it's too much headache to call in yet another service provider to close up the walls. But I don't count that against them as they never advertised themselves as a full service provider. In fact, I have called them again on a different pipe burst that we just recently had.

They have always been prompt, professional and cost-appropriate. They don't gouge with the pricing. I don't remember what they charged me for the burst pipe, but it was appropriate for the service they conducted. They had originally set up the plumbing in the house about fifteen years ago. Since then, I have called them maybe five or ten times; every time, they were courteous, prompt and the cost was in line with what I felt was appropriate. I had called other people who gave me estimates that were outrageous, but their estimates always seemed to be fair. Ninety percent of the times, I have used their services other than the times when they were not available. I once called someone else, but I really didn't appreciate their attitude and I think they overcharged as well. However, Gene Duffy Plumbing is everything they say they would be. I once had to call them on a weekend; so they came out and still did not over charge me because I am their past customer which I appreciated. I am very happy with their services.

The work was actually done by Gene Duffy's son Tom. He arrived on time. Knew exactly what to do. A few hours after he left, I was touching up the cleaning of the bathroom and I noticed a crack in the base of the toilet. I called him aprox 8PM and he returned my call immediately. The next day he located a matching toilet base and replaced it two days later at no charge to me. Gene Duffy plumbing gets an A+++ rating in my book!!!
