The price was comparable to other prices I received. The service was excellent and the install guys did a fabulous job. Took into account that we have pets and made sure the fence was pet proof. Courteous and polite.

Jimmy provided a very reasonable price and his two assigned installers did a great job removing our old chain link fence and installing our new PVC white privacy fence to enclose our rear yard. This was a very positive experience. Thank you.

Sales person was friendly. Installers arrived on time, but the sales person had failed to inform the installers that there was no electric or water near the location the fence was to be installed. We had to provide installers with several long extension cords to help get electric to the location. We had to do the same for water. The outside water was already turned off for the season. The installers were very nice and did a good job. Their company should provide them with everything they need to do a job and not have to rely on the homeowner.
The salesman priced in steel posts for the front, but we had told them the posts in the front did not have to be replaced. We spoke to the office the day of the installation and they were nice and agreed that the price needed to be adjusted. The price was fair based on other estimates we received. They were able to do the work the next day.

My wife and I went through a nightmare due to a custom vinyl post and mailbox being improperly installed by Craftsman Fence of Suffolk County three years ago. The post split as it was cheaply and improperly installed due to the Craftsman installers putting concrete in the post to stabilize it rather than inserting a steel post. Over time the concrete expanded and contracted. Opening and closing the mailbox eventually caused the post to crack and snap in two parts. The salesman from Craftsman inspected it and despite their being 100% at fault, they wanted to charge me an additional $350 for a similar and not matching post with installation. I then went to see Joe, the owner of North Shore Fence in Centereach. Joe told me to order the post which I did from Superior Plastics in Pennsylvania. Once received, I brought him the new post and the old post with the mailbox still attached. The new post had to be specially cut to attach the old shelf, bracket and mailbox to it. Within two hours, Joe called me to say it was all reassembled. I went there and wanted to pay Joe but he wouldn't take anything. I was bowled over by his courtesy and kindness. Nobody else would have done that, For three weeks our mail was on hold and we had to go to the Post Office to mail letters and bills. Our street address numbers were on both sides of the downed mailbox. Joe was a lifesaver.

We have had no problems. Jim was great to work with. He was here when he said he would be here. They cleaned up well after themselves. They were on top of everything and got the job done in one day.

It was excellent. They were punctual, professional, and clean in their work. Their estimate was very competitive. I needed the fence put up quickly and they were able to start in 48 hours! It was amazing!

From sales to installation, they were totally professional, punctuational and the quality of the product all met our expectations. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

I talked to the owner who answered all of my questions and concerns. He showed me what a quality fence versus a contractor fence was all about. I paid for the quality that I got, I could have gotten cheaper but the quality was my concern. The instalation crew was very profesional and new what they were doing. The install was done very quickly and neatly, takeing my old fence with them.

The installers were excellent. The product was great. Calls to the salesman went unanswered. I was told by the salesman that the gates would be put on immediately (on the and quot;plastic typeand quot; fence). My pool was being opened the next day. The installers said the gates would be put on in 3-5 days and put up a wood barricade. The store said it would be 4-5 days for the gates to be installed. After numerous calls by me to the company, the gates were finally installed on 5/31/13, 11 days after the installation. The company said it was backlogged because of and quot;3 days of rainand quot;.

The price at North Shore Fence is high, but the installation crew is very quick. They did a very good job putting it in. It was done properly. The gate works beautifully. There were no problems with the installation at all.

They are real good and I would recommend them. They were very responsive. They listened to what I was looking for and they also made suggestions. It turned out really good. They were very fast to respond when I left messages.

I have to say I was very impressed with this company. I called 5 different companies and recieved estimates from three. Two of them got back to me a about a week later so I didnt bother scheduling an estimates with them. Jimmy came out quickly and was on time. They gave us the best price and was able to match an existing fence from a previous owner which we didnt think we were going to be able to do. So I basically got a custom fence to match and at the best price. The only negative is that the workers showed up one day when we werent expecting them so my nhusband had to leave work, but hey, I would rather them show up unexpectedly than not show up at all. The fence looks great and we got a great deal. We got more than we thought we would. I would highly reccomend this company.

I WENT TO NORTH SHORE FENCE, AND THE WOMEN IN THE OFFICE TOLD ME OF THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN TERMS OF FENCING. MY WIFE AND I OPTED FOR THE PLASTIC SPLIT RAIL INSTEAD OF THE WOODEN ONE WHICH WE HAD IN THE PAST. THEY GAVE US A PRICE AND DATE, AND WE AGREED TO USE THEM. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID; TWO WORKERS INSTALLED THE FENCE IN 3 HOURS PLUS, REMOVED THE OLD FENCE/DEBRIS. AND WE'RE THRILLED THE WAY IT LOOKS-AN EXCELLENT CONTRAST TO THE GREEN SHRUBS AND MIXED COLOR FLOWERS WE HAVE IN THE BACK YARD

We were referred to North Shore Fence by a friend who had used them twice and was very happy. We had already shopped three other fence companies. We weren't happy with any of the fence styles that we saw at any of these companies. We found a house that had a fence that we really liked, which was unlike any we had seen. We brought a picture to Joe at North Shore Fence and he said he could replicate it. In fact, he offered to build one section based on the picture and let us see it. He built it, and it looked even better than the one we had seen. He came to the house, measured, and scheduled installation within a week because he knew we were in a hurry. His price was very reasonable compared to the prices we had seen for similar size/quality fences at other companies. The installation crew was very meticulous, punctual, professional and eager to please. They were very neat and cleaned up the property when they were done. The finished fence looks great! We would gladly recommend them.
