Excellent job, clean and professional

From start to finish, it went extremely well. The owner Mike took lots of time to explain the job to me before I hired​ them,. He answered all my questions. I got the feeling they really cared about doing a good job. Turned out I was right. Benny and Corey were true professionals. They knew what they were doing and did a beautiful job. Everything was done on time, I would absolutely recommend these guys.

I liked that they did return my calls promptly. The individual that they sent out was very good.

Bernie and young Mike worked non stop to complete the job. They brought in a small water heater for over night but due to 40 year OLD plumbing in my laundry room I asked them not to do it. Not worth the trouble for 1 night, should a problem arise. Temperature inside house (November) never went below 64 using a small electric heater (they supplied) which worked well for the upstairs. Next day as promised they were at the house 7:30 am and completed the work with no issues. Mike the owner stopped in several times and brought whatever items they needed to complete the work. .Upon completion, and after the gas company hooked up the new meter, Mike the owner came back to review the functionality of the new burner/water heater.
A bid from another plumber was also $9,000.00 HOWEVER he was not an approved installer for the Navien Combi boiler that I wanted. Big City Plumbing is approved, and Mike (owner) stated he only likes the biggest unit as the end results are the best. HE WAS SO RIGHT.
I have a high ranch about 1450 square feet per floor. or almost 3,000 square feet. 4 Years ago I added 15 inches of insulation in the attic and still used about $400.00 fuel oil a month for heat and hot water during the cooler months.
Now with the Navien my monthly bill (December/January 2014) for gas was $47.01. Yes I was shocked and now see this was a very smart move. .
Diane (office manager) was always cheerful and helpful. She was able to get commitments for National grid and smooth over the time schedules for testing the system as this was my first gas appliance being installed. She is also working on getting my rebates.

Big City Plumbing will be my go to guys for all my plumbing issues.
They are a vendor that stands behind their commitments with no surprises after the work is done.

After some delay, all work listed above, once started, was done quickly and professionally. Mike, the owner, supervised all stages and made several visits to inspect the work and make recommendations to his men. He did the final system testing himself, walked me through the operation of the system and made recommendations on placement of CO and smoke detectors as required by code.
His office manager, Diane, is highly organized and a pleasure to work with.
