Five Star Construction was amazing! Every last detail was done beautifully. There was constant contact throughout the 3 week project. All the people working were always on time, courteous and respectful. Marc and his crew went above and beyond to make sure it was done the right way. We would highly recommend Five Star Construction!

Excellent! They were on time and professional.

The job itself from the workers went extremely well. No complaints, all rave reviews and great workmanship. The job required 2 men and in both occasions the workers showed up on time. They were polite, friendly (but not overly friendly) professional, clean and worked expeditiously. It took about 2 hours for the install. That part was all rated Excellent. What wasn't excellent were 2 things. Communication wasn't the smoothest. At times it was, and at times it wasn't. Maybe it was the method, (I was texting as opposed to calling), but I texted initially, and was responded to and wasn't told calling would be better. The first job was communicated via text, and For the second job I ultimately had to call to set up an install date to get a response. And I never did speak to marc in person. He texted me back w a date. Obviously, I was happy with their work with the first ladder install that I wanted to use them again. The other issue was I didn't get receipts for the work. I requested one after the first install and it didn't go as planned (the date of service on the receipt was the date I requested the receipt, not actually the date of service) and I contacted Marc again (via text and email) to have another receipt w the correct date of service emailed to me and I never did receive it. I needed it to show the furnace men that the brand new attic ladder was installed by licensed professionals only 3 weeks prior. I don't think it was a lot to ask for a receipt . Nor do I think it is a lot to ask for changing the date because the wrong one was on there. Obviously, I liked their work and I wanted to use him again for the second install, and I figured I would just get the receipt then. I could get over the fact that my correspondence regarding the need for the receipt and w the correct date of service (I mean that is in fact a "receipt"), was completely ignored, because the second install was not much past the first install. I left a message again and asked that when the men came, they provide a copy of first receipt, w the correct date of service, and a receipt for the current work, the second ladder install. Again, I explained I needed a receipt to show that it was installed by a licensed professional only 3 weeks prior to the furnace men breaking it. I didn't blame it on a faulty install because I felt they did a good job installing it. It was a Werner aluminum ladder, and it bent and I felt it was related to the furnace men using it abusing it. I received nothing when the installers came for the second time. How many ones should one ask for a receipt?
