If you need a company to install a tin ceiling in New York, New Jersey or surrounding areas Abingdon Construction is the choice for you. We have been installing tin ceilings, cornices, and decorative ceilings for 95 years. At Abingdon Construction we will provide tin ceiling installation, tin ceiling restoration, installation of cornices, cooper ceiling tiles, decorative ceiling tiles, and can even assist with antique tin ceiling tiles and Victorian tin ceilings. We do all of this primarily within a 150 mile radius of New York City however, upon request other locations will be considered. Abingdon Construction installs any brand of tin ceilings as well as offering a wide variety of products that are readily available. Our mission is to provide you with the finest quality installation service and support.

Acoustic Ceiling Tiles Install
Do not waste your money. We had a tin ceiling installed in a small area in our home where we created a butlers pantry. This is a project we have wanted to do since we moved into the house 2 years ago. W Unfortunately, the job was not the expert tin ceiling install product. We were led to believe we would get or be paid an exorbitant amount of money for it. I believe Mark was doing on the job training with someone when our project was completed. The ceiling is wavy, the seams are uneven and do not match, there were dents in the tin and nail marks are clearly evident. In addition, he never completed the job with a border as was discussed. We have since had to hire another contractor to complete the project to get it right.

What a rip off....materials cost less then $400...charged me $1960.oo......did a horrible job...came back and it looks like crap around the edges...been asking for a breakdown of materials and labor for 2 weeks....... he knows he ripped me off....... charged me for 5 boxes of ceiling tiles at $80.oo each and only used 3....will not respond to repeated attempts to contact them ......karma

Even cleaned up the place after the work was done on the Acoustic suspended ceiling!! Quality work and fast!!

The finished product was good, but they made a mess of my house. Broke my siren alarm which cost me $195.00 to replace, scratched my wood floor rolling a scaffold on it, stepped in plaster and ground it into my floor. They had no regard that this was my livingroom and not a construction sight. I had hours of hours of cleaning after they left. I could not get some of the scratches off my real wood floor.

I had to redo basement damaged from super storm sandy. Hired them because they had the best quote for what i needed. i did paneling work but knew i needed professional for drop ceiling. Job completed in one day.cleaned up after work was completed,Ceiling looks perfect ! Could not be happier

Considering the difficulty of the job.. Age of the existing tiles and the building I was very satisified with the workmenship. I needed a repair job after NYPD distroyed part of my ceiling and wall looking for evidence of fire. Both the ceiling and wall prints no longer existed. Mark had the ceiling reproduced and closely matched the exisitng wall pattern which saved me a bundle.
