Work was completed, but the owner's business practices are not trustworthy.
Description of Work: The work done was professional and quite fast. The owner, however, is slick and smooth talking and has a way of adding services for extra charges. He's very adept at conning you to pay considerably more than you agreed to up front. Before hiring Benedict, get a detailed, signed contract stipulating the exact dollar amount for the exact work to be done - and stick to it. In my experience, this firm, while competent at what they do, is untrustworthy.

Professional. Extremely clean (did not leave a twig behind!) and payed close attention to detail. He was also very conscientious of where his equipment was placed or driven so that our yard was not torn up. His prices are extremely fair! I highly, highly recommend.
Description of Work: John removed multiple trees for us and ground down the stumps.

All wood and debris was taken away, price was reasonable, we were very satisfied. Would hire again/Definitely Recommend.

John came when he said he would, with a group of +/- 5 guys, they worked efficiently and safely to take down the trees, grind the stumps, and they took away all of the debris and raked up before they left.
Description of Work: They took down 2 large trees, ground a total of 5 large stumps, cleaned up and removed all limbs and debris

A cost estimate was requested of Benedict Stump Grinding. On the first call, there was an approximate cost range provided to me of $150 to grind (4) stumps. Per the Owner, this service is typically limited to the weekends. I then received a call from BSG asking if they could stop out to provide a quote, which resulted from a number of requests. Due to schedule conflicts, we couldn't happen at the time BSG was willing to stop by. Since then, I've left voice messages with no response.
