I would like to respond to Lori....one question how could you tell me to deduct for 2 hours (men going to breakfast) and now lie....also if the men were waiting for National Grid to turn off power how could they go first thing in the am to get materials when they did not even know where the problem was located or what the problem was.
"In brief due to we are going to court on this issue, the owner did try several times to contact you about this issue. The one time he did reach your husband, he could not discuss this due to the fact he "over talked" him the entire time then hung up on him. We were called out on an emergency for 1/2 power to the whole house and no water due to power issues. The hour the men were gone in the morning were to get the material needed to complete your job. The job was completed on the same day, inspection done and power turned back on. Billable hours also include travel time to the job site and then back to shop."
"This job ended up not just replacing the distribution box as originally was needed, there was as 10 feet of pipe and fittings that needed replacing as well. Underground work is not visible to the eye until uncovered. There was additional work that needed done and got done. After some discussion with the homeowner and A/U's owner, we issued a re-bill to the customer with a reduction of this bill by $408."
"This work was completed in 2005. We stalled the electricity to the new hot tub, running wires in a finished basement. Customer assured us there was no problem in the "chase way", however when doing the job we found issues, and had to make changes as to how the wire was run. Customer was aware of these problems."
"Thank you for your comments, it's always nice to know when we do a good job."
"THE CUSTOMER ORIGINALLY CALLED TO SET UP AN ACCOUT FOR FUEL ON 12/10/10, AT THAT TIME ASKED TO GO ON AUTOMATIC DELIVERY. She did call for a receipt to which was mailed out immediately. The only other thing discussed was she wanted a discount on the fuel she had already received. If she had paid the fuel within the 10 days allowed for the discounted price, she would have gotten it. She was due for the next delivery, so she received one due to the fact she was on automatic delivery. She called very upset about the delivery, we tried to reason with her to no avail. even dropped the fuel price down to $3.50 instead of $3.75 at the time. If she was not going to pay for the fuel we wanted to pump it out, this would not have effected her furnace as stated in the letter we sent her. At no time this year has the price of fuel ever gotten to $2.09 a gallon. The lowest has been $3.45 back in September. We feel we tried to reason with her. Unfortunately we were not able to please her."
"Thanks Member for the kind words. We do what we can for our customers. Have a safe winter. Lori"
