I had this done about 10 years ago with very satisfying results. This time, in good faith, I signed a contract. The work took months to get started and was sporadic at best. I contacted the company several times about the delays. Judging on how much timber they took out I was way under paid. In addition, they made a mess of the forest and brought all the cut timber over my land (this didn't happen before as there is a back way they went) gouging out trails and making bogs in the wet spots. Currently I have told them to stop cutting and clear out what was cut. I am meeting with a forester today to access the situation, after which I will put further information on this site. I advise no one to sign a contract with this company.
