I had an amazing experience with Countryside Vet. I had a friend recommend the facility to me. My black lab isn't the easiest dog to get along with because he has severe anxiety. The technicians and nurses were so understanding and caring. They gave him treats and didn't rush into petting or meeting him. They had me muzzle him as a precautionary, and they were very understanding and explained everything to me. They allowed my sister to come into the exam room with us, to help keep my dog calm and relaxed. When they administered the shots he was getting, they were quick about injecting them and kept him as calm as possible by talking to him and petting him. The wait time to get see was no more than 30 minutes. When they weighed him I explained he might not fully cooperate and they were so understanding that they talked to him and gave him a little treat for doing so well. The veterinary doctor I saw took her time with us and even took the time to answer questions I had. I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable. The environment is so calm and laid back, the nurses and technicians behind the main desk are so polite and considerate. They take their time with you and explain anything you have a question about without attitude or hesitation. Everything they do is in a timely manner and without hesitation. I have had to cancel and reschedule appointments due to personal and medical issues and they have been so understanding. They rescheduled the appointments without any aggravation or hesitation at all. When you finish the appointment they have a little area where you can purchase toys, food, and treats. My dog was very well taken care of and received the best care ever. I have continued to go back to Countryside and have even started bringing my service dog who's a purebred blue nose pitbull. They do not discriminate between breeds. So if you are looking for a loving and pet friendly veterinary clinic, Countryside Clinic is the place to go.
