When I got home on Tuesday evening, the pavers were not there. We gave them the benefit of the doubt because the weather was rainy that weekend. On Wednesday, still no delivery (and no phone call) . On Thursday, no delivery and no phone call. At this point, there is no excuse. I called and spoke to the "other Robert". He apologized and said the truck had just arrived and they would load my pavers and deliver them that night. He went on to say, if for whatever reason, they were not able to deliver that night... the pavers would be there first thing Friday morning. Again, he was very apologetic. My response was simply this... "if you cannot deliver tonight, please call my husband and let him know." Needless to say, no delivery on Thursday night and Friday afternoon, when I returned from work, NO PAVERS. I called and spoke to Rob....Again, he was very apologetic. I told him I wanted to cancel the order, asked him what time the office opened, and informed him I would be there first thing in the morning to pick up my money. He said ok. When my husband arrived at 8:30 Saturday morning, the "other" Rob said they had no money but the "other" Rob was on his way. He would be there in 45 mins. We left and returned at 9:30. The "other" Rob was still not there and Rob could not refund our money. When we suggested he cut us a check instead of refunding the cash, he said he didn't have a check book!!! He apologized and said he dropped the ball but we had to wait for the "other" Rob. It was only when my husband suggested they credit the amount to our debit card, using the credit card machine that was clearly visible and in working order, that he issued us a refund. This was at 10:00 am. on Saturday, June 1st. As of today, Tuesday, June 4th, the amount has not been credited. I will follow up when the refund has been completed. As of today, June 7th, $1294 was credited back to my card. Thank goodness.
