Joe is very experienced and very professional to replace my well pump, bring up the well cap to above ground level and installed house water filter. He discussed the job in detail and gave a fair quote. He came on time and did the job at high quality. He cleaned up everything before he finish. He took the 5% Angies list coupon as well. Excellent experience during a bad situation. We discovered our well head was leaking on a Sunday afternoon. Joe, the owner, came out the same day to assess the problem and told us how to avoid burning out the water pump. Joe and his crew came out the next day. Repaired the problem, with no surprises. Well, I called Old Faithful and spoke with Joe. The water tank had been leaking for quite awhile, so it wasn't an emergent situation. We arranged for a time for him to come out for an estimate the following day. What a pleasant & easy to work with guy!! He arrived promptly at the appointed time, assessed the job and gave me an estimate within a day. He does not do regular plumbing & will inform you of such if you need other projects performed. I found the estimate to be very fair and felt very confident that he could do the job. I also requested that he replace the water filter housing so everything would be the same age, being that our water is so hard. He assured me that the tank & other parts would be from a plumbing supply house and not be from the cheaply made stuff available from HD. That was really, really important to me. In the grand scheme of things for essential home items, it doesn't make sense to be penny-wise & pound foolish! The job was completed a week later without exception. He actually even moved the tank over several feet in order to make it more look better and give more room! He was neat, knowledgeable, affable and a pleasure to work with. The job was performed over a month ago and I've had no issues. I would recommend him highly. Good luck!! J

We were considered an emergency case because we suddenly had no water. Joe installed a new pump and cap after removing the old one. He was pleasant, professional and answered our questions. I appreciate that his office kept in touch with us, as it's hard to tell the exact time their earlier work would take. We happy with the work.

Nice job. Very, very satisfied. Had used company before to replace well tank in basement. This after my well pump went a few years before. Thought well tank a bit pricey at the time. But excellent responsiveness and service. Found Olf Faithful here on Angie's list, as plumber did not do well tanks. This time Joe came when pump stopped working. It was replaced a few years back by my plumber, so was surprised it stopped working after a short time. Plumber told me he would be a lot cheaper than well service companies. So Joe pulled up the pump, and told me that the pump was fine!! I think we were both very surprised. The plumber didn't tie down the electric cable appropriately, so it frayed, then finally broke off, resulting in lost power to the pump. I wouldn't have had a clue if I was told the pump needed replacement, so while it cost me to have the cable replaced, it would have cost more with both new cable and pump. So am grateful for company's honesty. The old saying goes here. In the end, had I knew of Old Faithful to install the pump properly, I "might" have paid more initially. But would have never needed a follow-up repair. That old saying rings true. You get what you pay for!!! Very satisfied with professionalism as well as honesty of this company. Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. A power outage at our house over a weekend caused a lot of damage to various motors throughout the house. Joe called very quickly after I left a message (on a Sunday!) and went through a lot of possible things to check in order to try to save my paying for a service call (much appreciated). Ended up scheduling an appointment for 8 a.m. the next morning. He was here on the dot and quickly diagnosed the problem. Fixed not only that, but helped my husband get other things restarted as well (water filter and hot water heater) before he left. The best experience ever with a service professional -- I'd highly recommend him and Old Faithful anyone with well or well pump problems.

Had no water pressure; came at a moment's notice on a very bad day (serious storm previous night - just happened to be nearby and finishing a previous call). Checked and found issue right away, very reasonable. Joe's the best!

Issue was found to be with the pump. Pump and piping were substandard. Joe reviewed pump specs with me. We picked out a pump more appropriate to the depth of the well. Also agreed to replace old glued piping.  This was all done in a few hours and the water was back on by dinner time.

Joe and his colleague showed up on time at 930am. They quickly went to work and pulled the pump by hand. They allowed me to watch and ask questions the entire time which I appreciated. They are both extremely knowledgeable, kind individuals and I trusted them fully. Upon pulling the pump, it was clear based on the age of the pump along with the price Joe offered, that replacing all the pipe, wire, and pump was the best option. The job was done by noon and me and my wife are very pleased with the results. I will not hesitate to call Joe in the future if a problem arises.

As soon as the well was excavated by Boyds  Artesian Well Co. Old Faithful showed up in a timely manner. Joe immediately proceeded to dig the ditch in order to connect the water pipes to the house. This process took four days due to a  bedrock impediment. The huge rock had to be removed ,in  order for the pipes to be placed in the ground according to code. A  jackhammer was required to remove the rock, which was an unexpected expense ,but  the work was reasonably priced. The work was completed and Old Faithful  truly  lived up to  its' name. We were very pleased with the work and service rendered.

A plumber from another company had been by my house and noticed that my well pump was rapidly cycling and gave me an estimate of around $3000 to replace one or two pressure tanks.  No other options were offered.   The job seemed simple and the materials not so expensive, so I thought that estimate was high.   I called various friends to see if they had a favorite plumber they'd recommend.  A realtor recommended Joe.
I called Joe that afternoon. He (1) answered his phone when I called him one afternoon.   He said he'd call back that night.   He didn't because he worked past 9pm, but (2) did call me the next morning and we set up a visit to deal with my well pump cycling frequently.   No long wait before I could get an appointment.  No inconvenient times.  No vague estimates of when he'd arrive even though it was a mid-afternoon appointment.
Today, on the day of the appointment, Joe called me 50 minutes in advance and said he was running early and wondered if I'd like him to come 30 min earlier than the appointed time.   He said he's rarely early like that, but he was today.
Joe (3) showed up right when he said he would.   He (4) quickly diagnosed the problem as there being no air in the pressure tank.  (I had suspected that but didn't know how to verify or (with my very old tank) how to correct it.)  He quickly moved to the solution of simply using a compressor to recharge the tank using a nipple on the tank that he pointed out.   He trained me how to do it myself next time.
It was all done quickly and professionally.  Kudos to Joe.  He has a new regular customer.

Joseph Nemeth responded quickly to our phone call and this was great since we were without water.  He showed up a little while after our phone and within 3 hours he had completed the job and we had water again.  He was quick, efficient, and left everything cleaned and ready to go.  It was great to have someone respond so quickly to our emergency.  He offered advice on maintaining our system.  Was a pleasure to deal with.

Faced with no water on a Fri. night i called several local plumbers and had to go thru answering service before I recv'd a call back from any of them.  Most said they could come in the morning and one or two would come that night for around $200 emergency fee.  When I spoke directly with Joe Nemeth/Owner he patiently guided me thru basic trouble shooting to determine possible solutions.  Although we were unsuccessful he was willing to come over right away.  Since it wasn't an emergency we agreed to Sat AM appt.  Old Faithful (Joseph Nemeth) was prompt, extremely courteous and completely professional.  The pump was replaced, upgraded and running properly within 3.5 hours.  Highly recommended!

It went very well and smoothly.  When we realized we had a water issue, I went to Angie's List.  I saw the reviews of two companies and this owner came quickly to checkout the issue and give me an estimate. He confirmed the problem and I got an estimate from 2 other companies.  One was the same price and one was much more.  We scheduled a date for the following week.  On the appointed day, he had an unexpected well emergency so he sent 2 workers later in the day to do the job because we had taken the day off to be home.  (I always recommend being home when work is being done on your home).  They were very professional, replaced the tank and now our water pressure is better.  Very pleased and we would call on them again for any water/well issues (but hopefully we won't have any).

I am so glad I called Old Faithful Pump! Joe, the owner, came to the house did some troubleshooting on the equipment. Although, it wasn't good news, he said he would send his men later in the afternoon to further check the well/wiring. When they arrived, Joe was with them, they found the problems immediatley and repaired them. Luckily it was not as bad as we originally thought. Joe and his servicemen, were great. The person I used for years to do repairs for the well retired and I have had some bad experiences with other companies. I have finally found a well repair company that I will definitely use again. Joe was friendly, prompt, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable.  I highly recommend him.  It took him just a few minutes to figure out the problem.

Came home this afternoon to no water. replaced water filter but still no flow.  ignorantly tapped switch and heard pump kick in and flow restarted.  however would not shut, relief valve opened and like an open fire hydrant resulted! switched off pump.  tried calling local well/pump installers in area but no more than answering machine responses.  so right to Angies List and found Joe.  14 A ratings and close enough away in Carmel.  All well deserved.   reached him directly, and as promised called for directions following son's ball game.  here 45 min later, now after 930pm.  diagnosed problem immediately, quick, efficient repair/ replacment of parts.  very fair price!   Nice family guy.  my first call in future for this work will be him.  Thanks again Angies List!
