Lou Levy Construction is a middle size general contracting / building firm specializing in residential and light commercial architectural alterations, renovations, restorations, additions & new building. We work throughout Westchester, Putnam, Southern Dutchess & Fairfield Counties, handling residential jobs from small repairs to kitchens,bathrms,decks or misc alterations as well as architectural building additions, alterations & renovations up to 6,000 sq ft, & commercial alterations up to 15,000. I am a contractor w 42 years experience as a carpenter / and construction manager I manage & supervise my jobs personally on a daily basis,with a crew of my own carpenters. We do all of our own framing ,siding & woodwork with related top quality subcontractors in all of the other trades, both in N.Y. & Ct. I maintain a high level of craftsmanship, detailing, protection & job site cleaning following a course of proper job management to expedite the job & guarantee a firm completion schedule. We work on only 1-2 jobs at a time maintaining a continuity of labor and management on the job. Although our pricing is competitive , we are usually the middle price and not the lowest price in the bidding process. This is due to the nature of the of the protection, building products & details,as well as proper job cleaning & supervision that go into our jobs. We maintain a 95% dust free & 100% and damage free conditions in your exisiting living quarters through the course of your project, Many building details that we apply from framing through the building envelope & mechanicals, as well as maintaining a comfortable living environment for the home owners are details that many other contractors aren’t aware of, or don’t include, due to the addt’l time & expense.These details leave you with a building product that stands the test of time without showing the signs of poor workmanship & premature faulting of the building products, structure & finishes. It went well. He was very clean by placing down tarps. He was thorough and precautious when it came to keeping it in tact. He was very informative and made sure to explain everything so that there were no mistakesm made.
Description of Work: Due to the hurricane I had to have some of the exterior and interior walls re-done, painting, electrical work, and some masonry work done.
