Absolutely worse customer service I have ever experienced. Poor communication, not listening to customer’s needs, not going by individual lawn care needs. Only driven by enforcing their contracts and chasing customers years after they stopped receiving their services. Even after I expressed I didn’t want their services because of the extreme drought that happened in 2022, they still came and continued to harass me over the phone. I would recommend staying far from this company. When they did fertilization treatment, it was sitting on top of dry ground for months, so it didn’t make any sense to apply anything else.

Last spring I had the misfortune of hiring Grass Genie to spray my trees and eliminate weeds from my lawn. The spraying of the trees appeared to be satisfactory. However, upon spraying the lawn not only did they kill the weeds they killed all the grass that was sprayed. (See Photo) I spoke to Mellissa who was hesitant to send her husband Gene to examine the lawn. They procrastinated until I threatened to sue. Upon inspection Gene decided to scalp the lawn and re-seed the damaged area. Unfortunately, nothing grew. There was no follow up maintenance to promote lawn growth. As I continued to complain, Gene assumed no responsibility, said there was nothing else he would do and blamed me for the lack of growth. Subsequently, I hired another landscaper to clean up his mess.

James and his team are GREAT!  Always call the day before to advise they are coming and will always make accomodations if you ask.  They are a pleasure to work with.  Even one of my neighbors commented how nice the lawn has become.....and he now has Grass Genie working his lawn.

My lawn was previously prepared for seeding with a fresh layer of soil. The Company srayed the mixture in the backyard. Watering was optional. We opted to water the lawn. Within days we had a lush green lawn. They fertilized it a couple of times for an aditional fee to prevent weeds from spreading. Weeks later the lawn bacame infected with some type of fungus(brown patches which spread thoughout the lawn) which they claimed was due to the conscutive days of high humidity and rainfall. They returned and srayed a weed killer then later returned to reseed the lawn(NO fee was charged for this). Lawn is now back to normal.
