JENNIFER CONVERTIBLES

My husband and I recently purchased a new home and were looking forward to buying beautiful new furniture. We shopped around and found the perfect couch and Jennifer Convertibles in Carle Place, New York. One of the concerns that I had was the leather part of the sofa (bottom half) because in the store it seemed it had taken a lot of wear and tear. When the couch was delivered my husband accepted delivery not knowing to look in that area of the leather. The minute I arrived home my eyes went directly to the bottom part of the sofa and of course not only was one piece damaged but all three had tears in the corners and scruff marks. We immediately called customer service that evening and was told someone would get back to us. When no one did, I called "Gary" our salesman who couldn't care less and said its not his job and to call back customer service. I had my husband put a hold on the credit card. The next day, Gary calls me back as if nothing happened and said he would make sure this as rectified. Later that week, we were told a furniture repairman would come to the house. He came the following week and said he would have someone call us as to the details of how this would be repaired. The following week we were notified they would deliver us new pieces. As unbelievable as this sounds the new pieces that came were damaged except for one piece. I was in touch with several people at the main headquarters who I thought would be helpful but nothing is getting done. They offered $275.00 off the furniture but truthfully that is unacceptable. I want to return the sofa. I do not want damaged furniture in my first new home. I have photos and copies of emails to prove everything.
