I bought flowers for a loved one for Valentines Day and decided to thave them delivered on 2/12/13 since I know things are crazy for florists on 2/14 and I have had bad experiences from other florists on the actual Valentines day. The flowers came in a box delivered by UPS. Vase and flowers were separate. Recipient had to make the arrangement herself. Then, the flowers were dead by 2/14. Of course with Valentines Day, you only get one chance to make an impression, so I blew it by using 1-800-Flowers. I will be using a local florist from now on.
