We have used Grant's Plumbing since 1995. They initially installed our new furnace and have maintained it ever since, We call them whenever we have a plumbing, heating or air conditioning need, and have never been disappointed. This spring, we did a complete bathroom remodel which of course included new plumbing and heating connections. We subcontracted that work to Grant's because we knew they would do it right and would work well with our general contractor on the job. The job turned out really well, everything works as it should. The service is always prompt and efficiently done. The plumbers are always courteous and professional. I would always recommend them to anyone looking for a new plumbing service.

I called Grant's Plumbing because piece that connects the chain that connects the handle to the rubber piece inside my tiolet broke. First of all, it was raining out and the guy came right in without taking off his shoes and tracked through my house every time he had to go to his truck for a tool/part. He also stunk like cigarettes so badly that I had to spray Lysol and then light candles in every room he had been in, especially the bathroom where he had been the most.

The first time he came, he replaced the rubber piece. He told me he was finished and left. I went into the bathroom and flushed the toilet and just kept filling. I called the company back and explained the problem. The woman in the office was very nice, but nobody could come at a time when I could be home for a week. So then they send the same guy back and he said to me that he knew the piece he put in wouldn't work because it wasn't the right size, but he thought he'd try it anyway. So he puts in a new piece and leaves. The next time I flushed the toilet the bowl filled and then nothing, I flushed it again, and it flushed. I tried it again. The bowl filled but nothing. Flush again, water goes down. So I called again, and this time the owner comes. He appologizes and looks at everything related to plumbing in the house. He told me all he did was adjust the water level in the tank to fix it, He leaves and within a week the water was running al the time.

There was nothing really broked the first time, just a part that needed to be replaced. I don't understand how after 3 visits to fix it, my toilet is worse off than it was before they came. I would have been better off lifting the rubber flap manually every time I needed to flush the toilet. It would have saved me the money from their bill and my now higher water bill.

Don't call these people!
