Fran Duncan (owner) showed up in a snowstorm (must local and regional schools were closed due to bad weather), quickly diagnosed the problems with the drop-in stove (where others had failed to detect the problems), and explained what needed to be done, what parts would be needed, how much the total parts and repair would cost, and when he would come back to complete the repair (within 2 days).  I asked him if he would look at our dryer, which he did, and repaired it within 10 minutes.  He cam back within 2 days, and completed repairs on the stove.  Both the stove and the dryer work perfectly.  His final price was considerably less than he had predicted, as he was able to locate replacement parts at a lower cost.  He was clean, neat, acted professionally, was pleasant, and obviously knew a lot about various appliances and electrical equipment.
