Claudette's International

Although Claudette says she designs for the individual's tastes I did not find that to be the case. She had us fill out a general survey at the beginning and seemed to use that to base all her designs. I did like the paint color choices but did not like the window treatments and bedspreads and numerous pillows. (they are not my style or my daughters but she never asked what our style was!) She did not communicate well with me so I did not know what she was planning on doing in two of the rooms. The 3rd bedroom my daughter gave her a picture and told her to follow it exactly so that room turned out rather well. I never received receipts for all the work although she said that she spent more than my budget! Initially my understanding was that the design fee was 20 % of the total budget but I guess that is not the case.
