Overall our kitchen remodeling went superbly and we could not be happier. It has changed the entire house. A few specifics regarding the scope of the De Senas Remodeling effort:

- Removed the old appliances (refrig, stove, microwave and dishwasher), all of the old kitchen cabinets and sheet rock, taking the kitchen down to an empty room with bare stud walls

- Installed lighting wires in the ceiling and walls, and applied sound quieting tile to the upstairs bathroom sewer line in the joists above the kitchen

- Installed an outside fan vent line between the joists for the new microwave

- Ran a new 120-volt line dedicated to the microwave

- Installed new sheet rock on walls and ceiling

- Installed new floor mounted kitchen cabinets and called Bush to measure for the new countertop

- Ran wires, installed switches and 6 recessed lights and waited ~ 2 weeks for the new countertop to be ready

- After the new countertop was installed by Bush, installed the remaining new cabinets, 4 new appliances, new sink, 2 countertop pendant lights and a hanging light fixture

- Installed new matching cabinet, toilet and sink in the bathroom adjacent to the kitchen
- Lastly, installed with care and precision 45 individual cabinet handles

And few of things that made Jim De Senas and De Senas Remodeling standout:
- His employees vacuumed the kitchen and cleaned up before they left the house every single day, never missing one. Evenings and weekends during the entire remodeling process the kitchen area was clean and dust-free.
- His employees were courteous, polite and professional. They treated our dog like their own. We left them alone in the house several times without a concern.
- Things like the dishwasher drain, sink drain, new electrical line for the microwave and the new cabinet installation were all done with an impressive level of professionalism and attention to detail, well above the original construction
- Jim's experience and suggestions were very valuable, but he also listened to our ideas and implemented several of them

Overall his team's craftsmanship and attention to detail have made our new kitchen look like a built-in custom kitchen. Jim De Sensa and De Sensa Remodeling earned a well deserved and quot;Aand quot; on our kitchen remodeling project. We’d hire him again in a heartbeat.
