My Inspection had run out in July and I had completely forgotten about it. Service Plus Automotive is right around the corner from my parents house so i figured I would try to get in there without an appointment, which is usually a task. My mother had taken here car there before for routine maintenance and inspection and had a good experience so I gave it a shot. I called them before dropping my car off and asked if they could do the inspection today, they said they would so I went in to drop it off. It was a quick transaction at the service desk, I just had to fill out some paperwork about the car and about myself. I told the gentleman there that as long as I got it back today it was fine, I was in no rush. I called about 4 hours later and they said the car was done and he asked if I would come in so we could talk about some other issues with the car that were not in dire need of repair now but if let go too long could become a problem. So I went in and he told me he had to replace the front driver side signal bulb and the reason the labor cost so much ($27) was because it was in behind the battery and very hard to get to (I checked this myself after leaving the dealership and confirmed it was not an easy space to get at and definitely would take some time to replace). He also suggested a coolant flush and changing out the spark plugs since my car now has over one hundred thousand miles on it, the tech also mentioned that I had a valve cover seeping, which isn't a huge deal right now but would require repair in the near future. They did not push me to have this work done right there and then, even almost suggesting that I could do the work myself, which I appreciated. All in all I enjoyed my experience there and will most definitely be going back for my maintenance and repair issues.
