Dave is clearly passionate about his craft. He has a wide range of slate tiles to draw on in order to match the existing material. He employs the traditional methods, and is very thorough in making a professional job. Where there was a hard leak to track down, he persisted until he found the precise problem, and fixed it properly. With the barn job, he brought a professional carpenter to ensure the base was sound, and the roof not only looks good, it has been totally watertight these last two winters. He takes a genuine interest in the job, and I was so impressed that he came by this last summer to check for leaks, etc. at no cost. It's a bonus that he is also such a cheerful and pleasant person too!
