Ron seemed pretty knowledgeable about computers and responded in a reasonable time frame. When he replaced the power source, he somehow caused the computer to fail to recognize all the internal drives. He returned to fix it, but that meant I had to take additional time off from work. We ordered the video card he suggested, and he told us to install it ourselves. This failed in short order and required another video card and removal of the computer from the house for a week (and additional service charges). When this computer was deemed "fixed," it also didn't recognize the CD or DVD drives, and required yet another home visit (with some resistance from Ron, I might add). Ron seemed reluctant to provide parts and install them, preferring that we do it. I would expect that the service person would test any repaired machine before returning it for use.

"REPLACED CUSTOMER POWER SUPPLY. POWER SUPPLY STILL FUNCTIONING FINE. PROVIDED CUSTOMER WITH OPTION OF ORDERING VIDEO CARD THEMSELVES FROM MY SUPPLIER SO THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE TO PAY MY MARKUP OR PAY LABOR FOR INSTALLATION. INTERNAL DRIVE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY AN UNRELATED CD ROM DRIVE FAILURE ON A COMPUTER NEVER SERVICED BY US. TOTAL CUSTOMER BILL FOR POWER SUPPLY, VIDEO CARD AND 1.5 HOURS LABOR INCLUDING TRAVEL TO CUSTOMER SITE 3 TIMES AND TAX = $290.05. CUSTOMER INDICATED NO DISSATISFACTION AT ANY TIME TO ANY OF OUR REPRESENTATIVES."
