Paint house

They were very responsive. Came on time and finished on time. Changed a trim color without extra charge. Good color advice. Very neat. Good clean up. They found someone to do necessary carpentry. They were not the lowest bid but it was clear they knew what they were doing, and there were no surprises. Don, the owner, was easy to reach and kept in communication throughout the job.

He was timely on arrival for the estimate, had no difficulty with the specific work I wanted done.  He upgraded the paint at no cost to us.  His crew arrived on time on the date specified.  He inspected the work at the end, found some minor flaws that I had not noticed and had it re-done on the spot.  We have a large Victorian house that many painters declined work on the past.  They did a great job and I plan to have them come next year to paint the rest of the house.

They had a winter discount of 10% off which was helpful. They were kind of perfect for what we wanted which is the really good quality of Victorian paint job which they specialized. They understood how to do the details. They have very good suggestions about the colors we should use. The guy from the company was easy to communicate and really nice. He was professional and friendly. He took a lot of time with us to answer questions.  They were really fast and careful about the paint job. They finished everything faster than we expected and they did a really nice paint job. They only glitch that we had which is kind of a very strange situation is that one of our neighbors called the US Environmental Protection Agency to complain that the pain dust was being created and there were children in the household. This guy got very nervous. So he wanted to break the contract and not finish the paint job and then he agreed to finish. He had his employees do EPA training and they came back and finish the work later on. He said he was never into that situation before. He is a small business and he is really afraid about getting regulated. He was spooked but I thought his decision to break the contract was not good business.

The quality of their work was good and they worked well with the colors.

They were quick to come out and give an estimate. Their estimate was very reasonable. They were able to schedule me withing a week of signing the contract and completed the job in two days. They used a three man crew and completely scrapped and primed the house and shutters. The house is one and a half stories. They required a a deposit equal to the cost of the paint used on the job, with the balance paid on the completion of the work. Their clean-up was exceptional. I could not have been more pleased with their work.
