Utech dug up and removed the top layer of grass where they need to work. After doing the work, they replaced the layer of grass. You can't even tell there was work done unless you look very, very closely. I have seen so many front yards left a mess with a pile of dirt on them.

In & out in a few hours.

They found it and fixed it much faster and with less mess than I expected.

I've worked in contracting of over 40 years, mostly commercial.   I was very impressed with Utech.   The crews were very professional.   Daily there was a supervisor who was very experienced and directed the crew with professionalism.  They protected all of my existing surfaces, cleaned up the areas nightly, and were very sensitive to the owner.   Very polite, well mannered.  When additional labor was needed, additional crews were brought in.    The owner stopped by twice along with a traveling supervisor.   Very labor intensive, but they did everything perfectly.

The crew was fantastic.  Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous.  They did not rush through the job.  The work took about three weeks to complete.  There were some touch ups that needed to be done but we never had to call them.  They kept coming back and checking to make sure everything was OK.  They were always on time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We cannot say enough about this company.  If your looking to have a professional and through job done, this is the company to call.
You may think that this cost is high.  In a sense yes it is. However, for the amount of work that was done to our foundation and the quality of work performed it is not.  These guys were very meticulous about their work and took pride in making sure it was done right.

Mark and his crew were fantastic.  The performed four separate jobs for us over the past 12 months and we were very satisfied with all of them.  They were clean, professional, communicative, and responsive.  Any service they provide, I will call UTECH first!

The workers called before coming and arrived on time. They were professional, courteous and cleaned up when they were done. We were totally satisfied with the job. UTECH made sure that we were satisfied with the work that was completed. would highly recommend them!

The previous owners of our home sealed a crack in the basement wall in a very DIY-fashion. While it wasn't pretty, it held up fairly well. However, the seal failed and began hemorrhaging water as a result of pre-Christmas rain storms and melting snow.
I consulted Utech to request a quote. I was called by David Utech (owner/owner's son) the following day, and we agreed that he would stop by on 12/26/2013 for an estimate. A very friendly person, David arrived on time and pointed out a long line of calcium-formation from where water was pressing against the seal. He went on to explain Utech's process for repairing the crack and quoted me a price of $816 (after tax). The price was on par with other companies I researched on AL, so I went ahead we were scheduled for 1/3/2014 at 9AM.
Sure enough, Brian and Jay from Utech arrived at my house on the scheduled date, a bit early. Both very nice gentlemen, they explained what they were going to do. Before setting to work, they laid down a walkway of plastic wrapping leading from my kitchen down to the basement, so as not to get our floors and carpet dirty. This was something I sincerely appreciated, and a nice touch that I know isn't done by all companies.
They set to work right away, and about 30 minutes into the job, I headed downstairs to check on the process. This was good timing, as they had a portion of the floor jackhammered away (part of the process). Brian informed me that the previous homeowners failed to properly cap off a plumbing line that was used for a 1/2 bathroom. Additionally, there wasn't any drain tile connected to the sump pump from that specific area and a couple of other issues of concern.
Although we never experienced any problems caused by Brian's discovery, I figured we may as well fix the issues since the ground was already opened up. I asked him to revise the estimate. He called David, who advised that the work could be done for an additional $300. Doing the work after the fact would've been about $650. I told Brian and Jay to go ahead with the additional work.
They finished the seal and corrected the issues by 1PM. Once done, they cleaned the work area thoroughly, as well as our kitchen floor. All told, I was very happy with the work done. Although it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, I'm glad that things were addressed now versus later.

I had two breaks in underground water drainage pipes caused by the previous owner driving fence posts into them.  This caused major drainage issues and flooded the basement more than once.  They came and evaluated it and worked within my budget.  When Uteck came they diagnosed the problem and did only what was necessary to repair it.  I had another company come in prior to Uteck and quote me double, for repairs that overall would have not fully fixed the issue (did not find the broken pipes from the erosion like Uteck did).  The work went very well, I couldn't even tell they were there when it was finished.  Yard is very dry now even in very heavy rains.  Highly recommend.

They did an excellent job. They had repaired a leak 22yaers ago and there was a slight opening in the repair that they had done. So I called and they returned and redid the whole thing at no cost to me. They took everything that they had done before and redid the whole thing. So I am very happy. They guarantee their work. The guys that came out and made the decision with me was Mark Utech was the son of the man I dealt with 22yaers ago but there was no charge. They were on time, didn’t leave a mess, did it for free and it was great. It was a first good experience that I have ever had in terms of usually it takes three times to make somebody do something right but these guys came, agreed with their leak, fixed it at no charge and were perfect.

They fixed what they had to fix and it was good service. I am using them now because my basement is flooded!!

Our sump pump died and the basement started flooding. Utech had two guys out to our place within an hour. They replaced the pump, checked the outflow pipe into the back of the yard, and sealed/replaced piping in the basement. No extra charge beyond the quoted price for the sump pump. They could have been in and out in less than an hour, but they stayed for 3 total hours (again, no extra charge) to make sure everything was running properly. Our basement is now totally dry. We would not hesitate to call Utech again for any basement or drainage jobs. Great work.

I think they did a really good job. They were all really nice people. For our basement, it is a long process. We plan to have them back out this summer to do some additional work to help resolve more issues with the basement. I will say that the basement conditions are greatly improved and they did exactly what they said they would do.
