ULTRA-CRAFT GARAGE BUILDERS

From the first deposit check of $3,100 dollars I paid I then there was going to be problems. The check was cashed in May 2007 and I did not see or hear from Mr. Barone or Ultra-Craft until August 2007. I would call and it was excuse after excuse as to why the work could not begin. The concrete was poured by the sub-contractor in August after having a dispute with the City of Buffalo building contractor about the current code for the depth of the concrete. The garage was built and is actually quite nice. The two workers were pleasant and did good work. The problems started again when the City building inspector returned. The two fire-rated walls specified in the contract were not built properly to code and the contractor did not pull a permit for the electrical work. After numerous calls and certified letters to Ultra-Craft that have gone unanswered, I will have no choice but to void the contract and seek damages after I have another contractor complete the work.
