Very inapt company which only focuses on billing the customer not fixing the problem. My first experience with them was OK when my furnace had an issue and they properly diagnosed as poor venting and it fixed the problem. They did however changed a motor and charged me about $300. I also had an issue with my Water Heater (made by AO Smith) and it overheated and overflowed through pressure release valve. AO smith diagnosed that as venting issue. I called Sentry South as they installed the water heater. However they said it was the controller and charged me over $300 to replace it. The new controller made the problem worse and they came few more times, each time charging me $195 for each visit. First time they diagnosed it as too much sediment in the water and drained the entire tank. Next visit they finally agreed with AO smith that problem was venting. Even after venting correction the new controller still kept on overheating the tank. Eventually I had to replace the water heater. Not only Sentry South charged nearly $1000 for a problem that they never fixed. The new water heater cost me $2000. I also realized that the overheating was costing me close to $50 per month in gas bill.

He was prompt and efficient. Tested the heat element and confirmed that was the problem. Ordered the part and returned 5 days later when it came in and installed it. I feel it was a little on the higher side for only a few minutes time for each visit, but overall I am glad to have my stove working again.

I called Sentry South the morning of 05/15/15. The lady on the phone asked a couple of questions about what was going on with our refrigerator and I told her the freezer was working fine but the upper refrigerator was only warm rather than cold. When I answered her she said she would fit us in the same day. Gary came in the afternoon and understood the problem right away. He fixed it within 30 minutes and it immediately started to become cold. It's great that he has many years of experience.

Very good! Was exactly on time. Had all the parts needed to make our dryer like new! Very professional. We have used them before for other appliance repairs and each time had perfect results. Will call them again if need be.

Technichan began quoting repair prices and POSSIBLE problems before he even saw the furnace. Once he examined furnace he continued to advise of a long list of problems that could occure in the future and then began attempting to make a sale on a new furnace. When he was advised that the furnace that he was there to repair was only 12 years old he replyed and quot;yes, but it's not under warrenty. I advised that I was not interested in a new furnace at this time and he continued to try and sell me on the advantages of a new furnace and what a great deal he would make for me. After I advised no again and again, he proceeded to reset the furnace system and do a routine partial disassmebly and cleaning. He put everything back together. Again he advised on the advantages of purchasing a new furnace (from him of course). He presented me with a bill for services and AGAIN puts down how much things MIGHT cost in the future. I paid the bill and he left. Withen 10 miniutes of him leaving I checked the furnace to find that he had not connected the drains for the condensation. Water was running out of the furnace on to the floor. I called the office number but could get no answer or leave any message as they were closed. I then had to take the unit apart myself and reconnect everything. I called Sentry south the next day and advised of the problem(s). I was advised the owber would return my call and my check not cashed untill the complaint was addressed. NO RETURN CALL was EVER received and they CASHED THE CHECK ASAP!

I was very happy with the whole process. I got 3 different quotes and this was the cheapest. I was very pleased
with the way everything was explained about the high efficiency furnace 98%)compared to an 80%. I have used this company before for repairs. I am very satisfied.

Repair technician arrived within the scheduled time. Repair was completed very quickly. Technician was very courteous and professional. Price was very fair. We will definitely call again when appliance service is needed.

Very pleasant and courteous gentleman. Called before coming and performed the repair within a very short period of time. Showed us how to reset the drawer on its track (which was the problem). I would highly recommended this company.

The problem was diagnosed very quickly. Gary advised me to change the temperature control and the problem would be solved within a couple of hours. He was right.
I ALWAYS ask for Gary. He has been and quot;ourand quot; service professional for the past 15 years (or more). He knows appliances inside out and efficiently solves our appliance problems. We value his service.

Excellent service... Called Wed. Job scheduled for Thur between 11and1pm... Tech arrived promptly at 11am. Hinge was fixed right away without any delay... Tech was curteous and professional. This was a very good experience and I recommend their work very highly.

I have been working with Jim and his father/son for over 10 years. He is my go to person for anything HVAC/appliance related. He has performed services as simple as running a gas line to installing 2 furnaces with coils and condensers for VERY reasonable prices! I cannot speak highly enough about his honesty, integrity and professionalism (He's a quirky guy, but he'll never do you wrong!). If you want to pay outrageous money for services that you might not even need, don't call Sentry; but if you want a knowledgeable, honest technicians, Sentry South is the way to go.

Jim (this is a one-man company with an answering service) showed up the next day and pinpointed the trouble right away. Unlike other companies, he did not try to sell me anything. He pointed out that I had a high-quality hot water heater and it would be worth _repairing_ it not replacing it. He got the unit working right away but (as mentioned above) figured that a certain part on it would fail soon. I liked how he gave me the option to repair that part within 30 days to consider it a part of the same service call (and therefore avoid further service call fees). I think he was honest and was interested in just getting me back in service without having an agenda geared towards unnecessary sales or service.

I called for service on a Friday and provided the brand and model of dryer so they could check on the availabilty of a part. Part was in stock and repair was made Monday morning. Company called me at work to let me know when repairman would be at my home. He was waiting for me when I arrived. He also answered my questions as to the advisability of repair or replace other aging appliances,
