The painters were great, this was a rush job due to our move in date, and while the owner was away on vacation and they were pretty well booked up, he had several of his painters come in the evening to make sure it got done on time.  Great service.

I had 3 estimates.  The other 2 were not going to do the job right for fear they would run into other issues.  One of the rooms had wallpaper put over paneling.  Fred insisted on taking the paneling down and do the job right.  Both of the other companies said it could cost thousands more to remove the paneling. The Roehl estimate was only $200 more.  There were actually 2 more layers of wallpaper under the paneling that was removed.  The walls look great.  They helped me move the items in the rooms.

This work was done during a snowstorm they actually shoveled my drive way too.  I do wish they would have removed their boots instead of tracking snow on my hard wood floors!

they were extremely professional. they completed the work in 3 days. I couldn't be happier with the work. They were also $400 cheaper than another estimate that I got.

Fred and Tim were very prompt, helpful at choosing colors, and responsive to requested changes.

Initially the painting they did was good. The job lasted several weeks and there were long periods where they were gone on other jobs. At the end of the job the work was rushed and the quality decreased. One bathroom was left with a spotted appearance and it clearly needed another coat. I had to stay on top of things to be sure that lots of small things that had been agreed in contract were done. When they were nearly done, Fred asked for payment and I made the mistake of paying in full before the exterior painting was done. He promised to return in about a week. He didn't and I called repeatedly to get him to do the exterior painting I had payed for and which was specified in our contract. His response when I reached him was as though I was bothering him rather than the appropriate response which should have been shame at accepting money and then making no effort to complete the work. Months went by with no response until I finally filed a BBB complaint. He agreed to refund money for the uncompleted painting and the bathroom which was done inadequately. Months went by and I did not receive the money he agreed to refund until I contacted BBB twice more and they contacted him. In addition, in originally negotiating with Fred he had assured me that he had the skills to build the bathroom closet. The closet he built is crude and unprofessional. The door doesn't fit right, no paint inside or on the back of the trifold door, screw heads not sunk, raw uneven drywall edges. No shelves. In hindsight a mistake to hire a painter to do this work, but he did give assurance that he could do a good job. He didn't do a good job on that. Also, they had agreed to haul away a bunch of stuff from the bathroom they gutted and they didn't do it after a bunch of time went by so I ended up doing it myself. Fred sent a young guy to help me when I asked him to. He helped for a short while. They fell way short on this commitment to haul away the refuse.

They were very neat and the garage looks 100% better. The only issue I have is that my outdoor broom and dustpan were missing the very day the job was finished. I asked Mr. Roehl that day if he would ask the workers where they left the broom. He told me he would get back to me but he never did.
