RICH RENAISSANCE CATERING INC

The caterer arrived and set up the buffet table right on time as promised.  He told us when he arrived that they overbooked apologized because he was delivering from the trunk of his car.  He also said because they overboked they would not be able to come back to clean up  therefore they sent aluminum chafing dishes and sternos that were mine to keep.  He tried to sound excited like this was a huge plus!  He started setting up and I asked where the table linens were.  He said because they were not coming back to clean up they didn't supply the linens.  Furhter when I booked I ordered BBQ pulled Pork and Italian Sausage with peppers & onions.  One would think that because these are things that are normally eaten on a roll the rolls would be provided.  Not so.  Fair enough at least I knew ahead of time.  So i went to my local bakery and got fresh rolls there because Rich's wanted to charge me $4 a dozen.  However, when the caterer came with the food he had rolls.  When I said I was told they aren't included and I didn't pay for them, the driver said the kitchen thought the same thing I did originally; these should be served on rolls so they sent some.  So the money I spent buying rolls was wasted.  The food was delicious, I will give them that.  However, the food got cold because there were no lids (remember no metal chafing dishes as promised), there were flies in the food, and my tables looked awful because I was expecting them to be covered and they weren't.  When the driver was done setting up I asked if the bill would be adjusted and he said absolutely.  I said what is the new total and he said he didn't know.  He was just there to deliver and collect the money.  I asked then how do you know it will be adjusted? he said to call them on Tuesday (Monday was Labor Day) and he was sure it would be taken care of.  I called today (Tuesday) and spoke with my catering manager Gail.  I explained that I didn't know how she arrived at the total she did even if everything was given as promised.  My math worked out to $10 less even with 20% admin fee to cover tip and delivery.  I explained that I was disappointed and why.  She reassured me that I had received everything I was supposed and more.  I said I had no table linens and she said you would have only received 1 and it was taken off.  I said but the buffet took two 8-foot banquet tables to set up, why would i only receive 1 tablecloth and she said that's all they supply (not on the website), I explained that I was supposed to get and paid for metal chafing dishes and she said but you received aluminum which you got to keep! Did me no good because without lids the food was compromised.  She said plus you received rolls which you weren't supposed to and because we overcooked we supplied the extra pan of mac & cheese. This went in the garbage because it was too much food and turned bad anyway. 
Needless to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed & felt they could have done more to make things right.
