Met with owner - who actual paints himself. very knowledgable on products. Helped us select the right textures and colors for both inside and outside. Moved what they needed - very carefully and then moved everything back. Cleaned up nicely and followed up a week later to make sure everything was ok. Highly reccomended.

One week before the paint job was scheduled, Steve, the owner met with me to discuss what would be addressed and accomplished during the paint job. On July 3, 2015, the owner and one worker arrived punctually to prep and start the multiple repairs that needed to be addressed before painting my 20ft x 12ft living room. The owner left to get the paint while the one painter continued working. When the owner returned with the paint, he resumed assisting as well as at other times. The job was completed in satisfactorily, in a timely fashion. I am very pleased with the professional work of PDQ.

Owner Steve Ferrino showed up as scheduled for estimate. We wanted work done while we were out of town a few weeks later. He easily accommodated that. Due to an error in one of the colors we chose (I gave him both name and number for color as a double check on accuracy but transposed two numbers and when he called it in to paint store they prepared the paint by the number, not noticing discrepancy with color name). We agreed to split the cost of new paint ($50 each) and walls were repainted within two weeks (Steve was available sooner but I was not).

Workers arrived early and worked steadily (didn't even take lunch breaks!). They had to remove old wallpaper and repair drywall for painting. This took more work than expected due to hidden damage; it caused the price to go up by $75 over estimate, which was quite reasonable. They kept the work site clean and left the area neat at night. The paint jobs look absolutely wonderful. We were so impressed with their work!

It started in a pretty frustrating way - Steve was not good at returning phone calls or emails. Once he got around to giving me the estimate, it was hard to pin down the actual date of the work. He was trying to finish up his outdoor painting projects before the weather turned too cold. We had a tentative start date, and more than once, he bumped back my start date with only a day's notice. There was no emergency to have my room painted, but once I decided to go with him, I wanted a firm commitment. Luckily, my bosses are flexible enough that I can usually give short notice for a day off. However, once the crew started (2 guys in the morning, 2 more for the afternoon), they did a great, professional job. The room looks great, they guys were friendly and efficient, and everything was cleaned up perfectly afterwards. I would certainly use PDQ again, with the understanding that there could be some false starts. Their prices were excellent - I got several estimates (3 or 4), and this was the most affordable. I also liked Steve's attention to detail.

Floors were well protected, crew was courteous (foreman has worked with Steve for many years), and job was completed in a timely fashion. Site was left clean at end of each day, which was a miracle considering the sanding prep work done. Overall experience was very positive.
