I was a customer for over three years. For the first 18 months, service was great. The last 18 months we kept getting different technicians of varying quality. Most of them actively complained about their job which was awkward. Sometimes they would call to schedule appointments with us, other times they showed up randomly. Finally, we tried to cancel. I continue to be surprised at the rude, dishonest way that my wife and I have been treated since attempting to cancel. Their customer service representatives offered us a final service "at no charge" even though we repeatedly told them that we do not want anyone to come. They came anyway. Then they call us early on Saturday morning to harass my wife about paying for the free final service that, again, we specifically asked them not to do and before which we made it clear we no longer needed their services. Their service representative also started telling me about all the things that were in my house (that I've never seen or heard from them about), I guess to scare me back into their service. Really bizarre stuff. As a long time customer, I can't believe how my wife and I are now being treated. As a business owner, I would never think of treating my own customers this way. I'm surprised that it's still possible to run a business in such a dishonest, discourteous manner. If you are considering pest control services, don't make the mistake we did. Do yourself a favor and call just about anyone else.

We've had two house calls. Both times the technicians were prompt and professional. They take such good care of our home. It's worth every penny.
I still have carpenter bees, hopefully not for long.

The person who came out was wonderful. He listened to everything because I had to tell him what my fears were about bees and things like that. He checked through my entire home and was very thorough. He checked the outside and the inside to put my mind at ease, so I would highly recommend them. They are very efficient and on time. When they first came out the charge was a little higher, so it was like a hundred and something dollars. Each application is $90, but it depends on what you're getting done and what you are targeting.

Pest control - mice and ants. Spray the inside and outside of house. Payed up front for the year, however, they continued to come and spray the outside of house without consent and without us being home; they left a note saying they were there and that they sprayed outside of home. Never called and scheduled with me. Had they called, I would have told them I DID NOT want the service any longer. They continued to harrass me for the cost of their service beyond the year contracted. They sent my acct. to collections as well. I felt taken advantage of and would never give them my business again.

I had been using Orkin for about a year when during one of their quarterly visits, I happened to be at home but was ill. I therefore did not answer the door when the Orkin technician rang my bell. What was supposed to happen, per our contract, was that he would treat the outdoor perimeter of my home. Instead, I watched as he rang the bell, went back to his truck where he sat for 15 minutes. He then got out of his truck and placed a bill for $85.00 around my doorknob, which indicated that he had treated the outside perimeter-which he did not. When I reported the dishonesty to the corporate office, they were apologetic and said that they would send the same technician out again. They obviously didn't get it. I promptly canceled my service.

Not well. A year later I still have a mice problem, despite their inspections and following their instructions regarding filling up any potential entry holes (obviously did not locate them all). In the beginning there was a personnel turn-over issue (had 3 different guys in a row); this was problematic in that each guy didn't know what the last one had done (where the traps where)...after about 4 months, there was one steady guy. All seemed to be in a hurry as the schedules were tight. There was difficulty scheduling service on the weekend, despite indicating the ability to do so at the outset. All service reps seems to be polite, courteous, and responsive as they could be, given the company policy/system constraints. Always received the bill prior to service rendered (or scheduled). Orkin called after I canceled service wondering what they could do - how about service before I canceled?

I felt that Orkin Exterminating did a professional job. They came, they saw and they conquered what they needed to. Overall the bugs are pretty much gone from my yard.

I believe the head office in Buffalo could be more professional in regards to scheduling. Orkin does a good job but over the years we have had several different exterminators. It doesn't bother me but some people might want the same person each time.

While Orkin does provide effective pest control, it is very difficult to coordinate an appointment with them. I'm seeking out a different company for pest control service, because of their lack of cooperation.

I have had only one problem with Orkin and that is when they first came out they kept on switching guys around to come out. I asked them to send out only one individual who does a good job and so far he comes out to this day. I will keep on using them.

I've never really had a problem with Orkin. They are always on time, very professional, know what they are doing, charge a fair price, and, best of all, I haven't had any problem with pests. I would recommend them to anyone.

I didn't care for one of the technicians that worked for Orkin. He was late and I didn't feel that he was very professional. They don't seem to be addressing this problem correctly.

I felt Orkin Pest Control's work was satisfactory. They got rid of the bee problem, and it didn't take very long. It's nice to have a company do the work that I don't want to do.

I would maybe try Orkin again, if their prices were a little lower. I would refer them to others for their services. The tech was very nice, he did everything he was supposed to.

I have been using Orkin Pest Control for 9 years and have been very pleased. We used this company in other places we lived too. They come out at no extra charge if you have problems in between visits, like today they're coming to spray for bees.

Orkin is a little high priced but they do quality work. They will come back out if you call to have them spray again.

I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH ORKIN, AS A MATTER OF FACT, I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE TERMITE SINCE I HAVE BEEN USING THEM. THEY DO GOOD QUALITY WORK. MAYBE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH IT.

SINCE HAVING MY HOUSE EXTERMINATED I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY ROACHES IN FIVE MONTHS. THE REPRESENTATIVE PLACED BAIT OUT TO PREVENT MORE ROACHES. I AM PLEASED WITH THE STAFFS PROFESSIONALISM AND KNOWLEDGE.
