This is my second time using Jim and his company in 34 years!! Easy to work with, reasonably priced and the service was absolutely amazing!!!

He was competitive in price and the customer service was excellent.

They were good. They were great. I have no complaints.

I had some issues with the furnace in my new home. The tech from ODonnell got everything running again, Andy explained to me how to determine what service code the furnace is showing. Very helpful, especially if it's something simple like needing a clean filter!

We might have gotten them from Angie's List. They just charged us for a service call because it was related to cottonwoods clogging up the air conditioner.

They did a very good job.  They were very nice, too.

.I had no heat in the house and Jim came over to check the furnace. It was found that I needed a blower motor. I realize that it was an emergency service call but I didn't appreciate being charged $400.00 for a $100.00 part. This company installed the furnace and has serviced it in the past. I guess Jim wanted to buy his wife a nice Christmas gift. Very disappointing to be taken advantage of in this way.

Went very well.  Would definitely use the compnay again.

Not good at all.  Complained to provider after workers left my house about not being pleased with the behavior of the workers and the condition my house was left in.  Provider stated that no one had ever complained in the pass and that he would speak with the workers also on 5/17/2013 the date of service and my complaint , provider stated that on 5/20/2013 he would be contacting me with free offers (services) in the near future.  As of 6/7/2013 still waiting for call from provider.

Hired for furnace installation for our home. They brought in the worng furnace but not a big deal, mistakes happen and they corrected the mistake quickly. The employees that did the installation were pleasand and polite. Took several hours to get the old furnace out. I was told that someone would be picking up the old furnace in about an hour after a few phone calls they finally came 4 hours later. Left a oil spill in our driveway. The secretary who answers the phone inthe office was rude when I reqeusted an estimate of what time they would arriving for the installation of the furnace she was clearly annoyed. There is nothing like getting a question back to your simple question. I could hear her tsk & sigh then asked me...didn't they tell you when youre asked for the work to be done?
Since they were reasonably priced with the furnace install. I requested an estimate for the cold air returns in another house we are in the process of selling. The owner came to do the estimate, he seemed not to be all that interested, was barely there but 5 minutes. Told me it would be at least 1500.00 but would call me with a more accurate price in 2 hours....that was weeks ago, did not hear back from them at all.

Everything went smoothly.  Our contractor set up the estimate with Jim O'Donnell. Installation was professional and on time. No complaints and almost a year later we're happy with our heating/cooling choice.

I thought their service was excellent. They were here very quickly and did the job right. I was happy with them and would use them again in the future.

They did this on the hottest day of the year and came within 24hours.  The quality of work was excellent and they are very professional.  The owner was on site the whole time and that you spoke whenever you had questions.

An excellent customer experience from beginning to end. I am extremely satisfied with the overall value package (price, quality, & service). I selected O'Donnell partly due to the reviews on Angies List but mostly due to the word-of-mouth reviews from homeowners in my neighborhood.
Jim showed up to quote the job on a Thursday and the unit was installed the following Saturday (Memorial Day Weekend). I received quotes from several HVAC companies in the Metro-Buffalo area for comparable A/C models however O'Donnell was the most competitive in terms of price, warranty, financing terms, and availability as a whole. 
JIm and his crew were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The install took approximately 3-4 hours and they cleaned up quite well - as if they were never there. They also took the time to review operating and maintenance procedures for the new unit.
I will continue to use O'Donnell for all of my future HVAC needs.

It was excellent overall. The installers were great and clean and neat and had people haul out the old furnace next day. They also installed a new digital thermostat and the house is a steady 68 degrees. My only hesitation was the price because the last time when we had two new York furnaces installed we paid $2000 for both. That's the only reason I rate them a C on price. It was a bit of a shock. I didn't really have time to get estimates in the middle of winter all over the place but O' Donnell's was excellent and close to home.

Their commercial is very true when it says "when you call O'Donnell, you get O'Donnell".  Mr. O'Donnell came on July 13 to give us an estimate for replacing our 20+ year old furnace/ac unit.  He quoted us on two 95% efficient models.  Jim was prompt, professional and very friendly.  After receiving one other quote, we decided to have O'Donnell do the work and install the more expensive model.  I called last Monday 8/8/11 and scheduled to job for today 8/15/11 between 8:30 and 9:00 am.  At 8:32 am I received a call that they were just a few minutes from our house.  The installation technicians were very professional, friendly, efficient and neat.  The job was completed about 11:50 am and the air conditioner is now running.  Our old furnace/ac unit ran fine but was old and inefficient so it was time for an upgrade.  We are very pleased with O'Donnell from start to finish and would recommend them to anyone needing a new furnace.
