Very well. There is always the question of whether to use plywood or OSB. I spoke with several roofers and their opinions were pretty much split considering the additional price for plywood. I decided to go with OSB, which was cheaper and was recommended by Mid City.

The vinyl siding and aluminum trim on my home was installed unprofessionally and sloppily. The siding manufacturer company representative inspected the job, and issued a report sighting many installation errors, and stated that not even the minimum installation guidelines had been followed. Many issues have been occurring, including window trim separating, and some buckling of the siding. I was advised that my entire house must be stripped of the vinyl siding and aluminum trim. This statement has been backed up by a Town of Tonawanda, Code Enforcement Officer, the inspector from the Certainteed Corporation who did an on site inspection, and by two reputable vinyl siding installation company representatives. Larry Paige, owner of Mid City Home improvements, has admitted to me and a Town of Tonawanda, Code Enforcement Officer, that he and his company do not have a certification to install vinyl siding. I have many photographs that show the horrible job that was done to my home. I have hired an attorney to help me with this 18 month nightmare. Larry Paige, owner of Mid City Home Improvements is a first cousin of mine.

after i signed the contract, larry (the owner) told me that the work would be done in  approx. 4 days.  because of the rotten wood discovered after the tearoff, the work required an additional day. the roof was completed on time and the entire property was cleaned of all debris. when the work was started, i watched the work for approx. one hour. i was impressed with the professional nature of all the employees on the work site. they did not know that i was the owner, as i watched from across the street. it was an excellent job and i am very satisfied with the company.  in fact, i am going to get another estimate for another property that i own,from Mid City Home Improvement, a very professional and capable company.  

MidCity did a good job. I am very happy with the owner, but the crew they sent to do the job were having a lot of personal issues with each other. A better crew could have done a better job.
