The owner was such a nice guy and so knowledgeable and friendly. The work they did was amazing. Maunz is only one of three dealers who sell Carrier units. We wanted the best so that we knew it would last the longest, would come with the best warranty and be the most cost and energy efficient.
I am very disappointed that we were told that the old humidifier worked and that we did not need to replace it when in fact it does not work and our house is very dry. That is now a purchase that will need to be made separately which will cost around $500. They came in after we closed and before we moved in; they were very conscious and courteous of our time and new home.
We needed receipts and paperwork for our rebate and that took a bit longer than we wanted and expected, but overall, they did a nice job. The price is a B because it is a Carrier and more expensive but they were very competitive. It was a good experience overall aside from not having the humidifier included in the initial cost and having to buy it and have it installed.

Excellent experience

After receiving four estimates, we contracted with the Maunz Company to perform the work. Work was started within two weeks of the contact signing. The installer arrived at the promised time and went right to work. He was very skilled and experienced in the installation and methodically removed the old furnace and A/C and installed the new units. He was very personable as well as neat. He cleaned up each day over the three day installation cycle. He tested all systems after installation to be sure everything was working properly. He provided handbooks on the operation of the systems and also gave verbal instructions on the setting of the thermostat.
