MP Caroll was fantastic to work with. Our floor was damaged and needed to be replaced. We decided to change the color, which then required the stair treads to be sanded and stained to match the new floor. We went with MP Caroll because they had the professionals who could do the floor tear out, installation, and sand and stain the stairs. It was far more convenient than having to hire multiple contractors. I was concerned if they would be able to stain the stairs to match the floors. The new floors were a darker stained white oak and the stairs were red oak. They surpassed expectations. Our new floors and the stained stairs match the floor beautifully. Throughout the process, no matter how many question we posed in person, over the phone, or via email, they were always pleasant and nice. They are first rate. My wife and I highly recommend them. They were very helpful and I had a pleasant experience with them as well. They were recommended me by my remodeling company. I think they are the biggest name in town. I met with them twice and I felt super comfortable. They don't use subcontractors. They have their own people who do the installation. I am pleased with them. I felt their prices were very competitive. They just seem to know all about floors. They made good recommendations for the stairs. They will finish the work in April. They are extremely professional.

I found a 10% coupon after they quoted me and they honored 5% off the price. There was one spot that was raised, and they came out right away and fixed it. I am very happy with my floors.

All the work was performed very professionally and in a timely manner. Mike Caroll and his crew were open to working with us to give us the floors we wanted. We used a bamboo product from a source that they had not used previously after ordering a carton to see if it met acceptable quality standards. For the cork project they were very open to doing an inlay of a different stain color and allowed us to provide the cork ourselves after we imported it since the desired finish / stain was not available through US suppliers.
The crew was very efficient and professional and the quality of the installation was excellent. Joe who did the cork installation was a pleasure to work with as were the bamboo installers although we had less contact with them since it was a more straightforward part of the installation.Mike Caroll came to the site at various stages to look at the progress himself, especially in the initial stages since our home has in-floor radiant heating which made things more complicated.

Would definitely use them again in the future or recommend them to others.

The only negative was with the owner because I had requested a quote the year before but did not have work done then. The following year (2009) I asked for another quote and he was concerned that I might just be "shopping" again. We spoke and the misunderstanding was completely rectified and they immediately quoted again. The workmanship was excellent and the promptness and cleanliness were very good. Again, I would use them again.

Turned out as if it was the original floor, beautiful. The whole experience was pleasant. The company owner is hands on and professional. The estimator was very knowledgeable and forthcoming. I trusted his expertise. They were on time and punctual. The installer was very meticulous and professional. I would recommend them to anybody, they are high quality craftsmen.

We heard about M P Carroll from a local TV. show, and we were very pleased with their work. The two guys were such perfectionists, it was like they were doing it for themselves. The floors look amazing!

MP Caroll did a great job. This guy broke off from a bigger company, and is starting his own company. He recommended a floor that we are thrilled with. Now two of our neighbors like it so well they are getting it as well. Very nice to work with.
