This is a two person operation. The boss provided the lower of two estimates. He and his assistant demonstrated professional competence in removing the old furnace, installing the new equipment, fabricating and installing the sheet metal duct changes, making the flue, electrical and gas connections and checking out the system. Without additional charge he voluntarily replaced the flexible gas connection to my hot water heater with a safer hook-up and added a pipe to the blow-off port.
