I would not recommend this company to roof anything. I Hired this company for a total tear off, asphalt replacment, soffits, and gutters. Gutters were subcontracted by irwin and I thought that company did a great job. When irwin did my soffits I was unable to open my front door due to clearance issues with the added material they used. When I offered a simple suggestion to remove existing plywood underneath the soffit and leave the soffit open, the owner Jim said "It can't be done that is how the house was built". Instead of removing what they did they decided to put a bandaid on the problem and Jim stated " you need to order a custom door". The custom door was going to be $900. This was definitely not the case as I since removed the soffit, plywood, and put back together Jim's mistake and magically my door closes with complete clearance. This company cuts corners and has zero craftmanship. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a job done the right way.

I can not speak highly enough of Irwin roofing. They were referred to us by one my wife's friends. We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling. This roof also covered our large family room addition. They came over for an estimate right when scheduled and their man thoroughly inspected the roof for any underlining wood damage. Their pricing was very good considering there was a complete tear off involved. This was mid November but their crew was done in 3 1/2 hours. They cleaned up the area very nicely , even walked both sides of the house with a metal detector looking for stray nails. They even vented the roof which hadn't been done from the original construction. At this time we also had them repair an area of the garage roof that leaked. They fixed it very nicely and took $150 off the estimate since the problem wasn't as bad as they thought originally. Now who does that ? VERY professional. Recommed them strongly to anyone and we will have them do our main roof this summer.

Irwin Roofing was hired to roof and side my home and garage. They advertise high quality workmanship, however, the siding job is far from high quality. The caulking on the window trim is clumpy and sloppy. The j channel seams are misaligned and/or gaped. I expected precise measurements and attention to detail. Very disappointed.

Very well. There was a glitch in that some underlayment was bad. It was replaced at no extra cost. Everything went as it should and they even hauled off a hedge that they trimmed down to get access to the roof. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

The crew was there exactly when they said they would be, the owner was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly and to answer any questions. We had a full roof replaced on our home which was dormered in the front and the back. Can't say enough about how satisfied we are. The owner treated our home as if it was his own. They did a great job and cleaned up immediately upon completion. . Highly recommended. No complaints at all.

Everything was great with the repair until a few months ago when it starting leaking from the same area. I understand that it's 2 years later but it's disappointing that there is a leak in the same place. What I find to be the worst part of this situation is that after my repeated calls to them and promises from this company they still haven't come by to check it out. I finally gave up on them and had another company come by and I was told that there wasn't any plywood installed in the area and that the hole had just been patched over and that is why it was leaking again. All I can say is thanks for the original repair but how about standing behind your work and not saying that you will stop by and then not showing up again and again.

Irwin's team came on site early in the morning around 8am and completed the job before I came home from work at 4pm. They did a good job. I did pick up a decent amount of nails on the lawn, but I'll take the blame for that because the grass on my lawn was very long, my lawn mower was broken at the time so I couldn't get that done prior to roofing day. Some of the mesh screens in my sun room got torn up from the job, they came back and fixed them a few days later. For future customers, I recommend cutting the lawn short and getting a magnetic sweeper from Home Depot to pick up the nails. It only costs $10. I also recommend protecting your mesh screens with heavy plastic sheeting before they arrive.

I was very pleased with the service and end result. The entire job was completed in one day, from tear off to replacement and clean up. You would never have known they were there after the job was completed. They were to show up at 8:00 a.m. At 7:00 a.m. the supplies were delivered, at 7:30 a.m. the trash receptacle was delivered and by 8:00 a.m. the roofers had arrived. The roof looks great and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

He he was conscientious, reliable and very easy to work with. They quality was very good. They were on time, prompt and completed the job quickly.

Out back porch is a flat roof, that has leaked on and off for decades. We looked at many roofers, and many different products.
Irwin Roofing came highly recommended by a family friend, and real estate agent, who'd used them many times. The owner, Jim, came quickly and gave us an estimate, which was the best quote we had received. He was knowledgeable and straightforward about the services performed, and offered a 5 ear warranty.
Once we decided to have the work completed through them, they had it scheduled within a week.and completed in one morning, as promised. The crew was polite and clean. We didn't even know they were there, except for the new, leak-free roof!
Mr. Irwin also offered advice and help to my husband with installing new posts for railings on the porch. A great epxperience, and though I can't speak to the longevity of the product yet, so far it has been trouble-free and we have had some very heavy rain to test it out!

They gave me the best price, did an excellent job and cleaned everything up. Mr Irwin was a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend him highly.

We were told we would get 2 days notice prior to the date. Mr. Irwin called as promised. We were told they would arrive at 7AM and they arrived right on schedule. I couldn't believe my eyes - there were 12-15 workers about to scale my house! The whole crew worked together like a well oiled machine. They took their jobs seriously but still had some good natured bantering amongst themselves. They had to remove 2 layers of shingles along with alot bad plywood. They had the front tear off done in no time, repaired a few bad areas and started putting down the new shingles. The crew working on the back had their hands full with having to cut new studs and plywood to get the roof ready for the shingles. The owner worked with us to keep the cost within our budget. He kept telling me everything will be okay even when I was crying in despair. I am extremely impressed with how the workers kept the job going - whenever they needed more nails or shingles they would call out and immediately someone brought what was needed. They were also very polite when I would ask a million questions. They had the clean-up down to a science. Instead of waiting until the entire tearoff was done, they immediately started cleaning up the area. When the job was nearly complete they even used a huge magnet on wheels to pick up any nails that were in the grass. In my opinion each and every member of the crew went above and beyond to get the job done in an efficient and timely manner. Irwin Roofing was recommended by a family member and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their roof.

Great. Very professional and accommodating. Punctual. Did what they estimated; leeway for materials if needed. Answered everyone of my questions. Cleaned up everything, fast! Took a day and a half. We talked to several roofers, and with the prince Irwin gave us, I admit I was skeptical, but he came on a very good recommendation to us and they lived up to it and more! I recommend Irwin Roofing without any hesitation. Very well done indeed.

They did a complete tear-off and replacement. They were efficient. They cleared up everything themselves, even to the point where they were picking up nails that fell in the lawn. The one thing that I was very thrilled about them was not a disparaging word was uttered out loud. They did not use foul language. He had that happen once and we flared up on him, and it has never happened again. Their price and materials are right. If he comes and when he says that he is going do it, it will be done correctly. I recommend them to all of my friends. They are not all that roofers who are just very interesting. If I have to, I will use them again in the future.

The work was done in one day and looked good. However, after one year, we had leakage in the attic and found out he never installed flashings around the chimney and dormers. We now have more roof damage and need more costly work done to repair it, including ripping up the shingles Irwin put down.

I initially called him about the leadk. He came right out, promised to do the work and never returned. I would never recommend him for a roofing job.

We found water damage inside and called this company. He checked the damage and said, as I thought, that there was a leak around a vent pipe on the roof. He went up and re-caulked the faulty vent pipe and also checked and did some re-caulking in other places as well.

They were very good and efficient, and everything went fine with the job. They came out and gave us a quote, came back the next day and brought some samples. They were here on time. They did schedule the work the day before and Mr. Irwin came, but there was rain coming into the area, so he decided to start it the next day. He showed up at the door on the day he was supposed to do the work but because of the rain forecast he wanted to do it the next day. He asked us if that would be fine and we were okay with it. We did not want to get the roof off and then deal with the torrential downpour. He showed up that morning and explained what they were going to do. They were very professional. He had several gentlemen come and take the roof off. Everybody had a designated job. It was done quickly and efficiently. There was somebody that was in charge of everybody that was here, plus Mr. Irwin came by as well. They cleaned up the yard. There was nothing left. They took all the debris away. We didn’t have to pick anything up. It was done within a week’s time or maybe in a week and a half. We had no complaints. We have already given his name out to a couple of family members. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

I really liked Mr. Irwin but I don't believe he was on the property when the job was done. Flashing was not completed around the chimney and it rained that night. I had a great deal of water from the second floor to the basement. He was quick to respond and did make repairs inside and out. I was not satisfied with inside repairs and hired someone else - Irwin re-imbursed me without question. Gave me a discount too for my inconvenience. I had received 6 recommendations regarding his excellent work from various neighborhood friends - I would just make sure he was present when the work is done.

It went beautifully. My house has multiple roof levels - kitchen, sun porch, dormers, etc. Jim's team commented that it was a complicated job. I was very nervous, as it is an old house, and who knew what they would find? But, his team (I think about 12 guys) completed this job in a single day! My neighbor's roof - which is smaller than mine - took 2-3 days. My entire family - and neighbors who were looking on - were truly impressed with the work ethic and professionalism of this team. They just worked, worked, worked all day - and got the job done. The team that did the neighbor's roof (different company) were very unprofessional - very loud music, swearing, etc. There were little children around while they frequently shouted the "f-bomb". Not Jim Irwin's team. VERY professional. And, they did an excellent job cleaning up. I could not be happier with this company. I very highly recommend Jim Irwin and his team.
