I definitely would not give them a good rating because it was awful. It was not a good experience.

They were very understanding. I was able to use a payment plan. They performed excellent work as well.

They came on time and got the job done on time. They were replacing an old boiler and they had to come back and tweak it a few times. They came and did that as soon as we called to get it fixed. We were overall pleased with them. They cleaned up everything and they were good. They were very professional, very friendly and easy to work with.

i had whole house insulated and reroofed. hughesco failed the energy star inspection, as per accompanying gov.loan. 4 months after roof ws installed shingles began blowing off my roof. after having doubts about the quality of the work done i touch it upon myself to call other roofing companies. i was/am still completely discusted with there findings. work has been found to be incomplete, in many instances done wrong( code violations), used substandard matterials( according to other professionals). after months of trying to address the situation with hughesco, have also found thi comp. to be unresponsive, rude, and not willing address the situation.

Fine job. The experienced crew was here on time. They were courteous of the house and occupants. They did their work in a professional manner and they did an excellent job. Cleaned up afterwards. Rate them as an A plus.

The company was not on time, left a terrible mess in my basement and was not only unlicensed they also did not obtain a building permit from my village. I actually found out they needed one when I called my town to ask what part of the building code mandated that I have a hard wired CO2/Smoke detector installed in my basement. I was then told that they did not follow code since they only installed one detector instead of installing several for each floor of the home as well as in each bedroom. The three day job took over three months. When I asked for a refund on the installation portion of the job I was screamed at by the owner Darin. I had the opportunity to speak with him twice, both times he screamed and carried on as if he was a child - incredibly unprofessional. I also had the opportunity to work with 4 project managers since the company has high turnover and I got to hear first hand the owner screaming at the fourth project manager that had nothing to do with my job until the very end. I was shocked and apologized to the employee for the owner's tactics (that project manager was also let go three weeks after he started). Instead of a discount on the installation price I was offered a discount on windows that I ordered and planned to install myself. The windows were ordered incorrectly and at one point I could not locate three of the windows since the third project manger had them with him when he was let go, and then hired back a week later. Eventually Hughesco installed the three remaining windows, however they were installed incorrectly and this weekend I plan to re-install them myself. All in all this job cost me 18,170 and I would not recommend them if they gave away their work for free. I am still trying to obtain a final home comparison report - they mailed me one when they felt the job was complete except it was on someone elses home. I had to double check all of their work and was told one part of the basement had been insulated, when I removed the board to expose the area I was shocked to find it had not been touched with the exception of two nails being placed in the board to make it look like it had been taken down and put back into place.

Andy, Hughesco's representative was very professional and informative. He was able to answer all our questions with a high level of knowledge. The insulation work was done professionally and timely. The workers showed up on time except on one occasion when a scheduling mistake was made. I did have to repatch a couple of the drywall repairs but overall they did a good job. The carpentry work done in the attic was good. We have not gone through a heating season but are looking forward to the savings. This summer we were able to set our AC a couple degrees higher and felt the same comfort level as years past.

I love my windows. I felt that Hughesco did a great job. They clean up after themselves well. I would recommend them for putting in windows.

Hughesco Inc was an excellent company to do business with. They were very dependable. I can't think of anything they did that I disapproved of. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Hughesco did excellent work. They helped us save money on energy costs, kept us informed as to what they were doing, and asked for our opinion on things. They were great.

Hughesco did a horrible job. They showed up with the wrong items, and it took them awhile to come back with the right windows. Then, they drilled holes in our siding to blow in the insulation. They said they would replace the siding there, but they just plugged the holes.

We always use Hughesco as they are very good. The workers are very nice and young people. They go beyond the work that they need to do. They always call before they come and they are never late. They all seem to really enjoy their job.

A salesmen came to the home and suggested ways to improve energy costs, and gave me an estimate. We hired Green Homes America, and the work was completed promptly.

More should have been done by Green Homes. I felt that details were overlooked and the job wasn't done to how it should have been. I probably wouldn't hire them again after speaking with other contractors regarding the job Green Homes did.

I didn't have any major problems with Hughesco Inc. They were a very nice company, but their quality of windows could have been better. Also, I felt they were expensive, so next time I will search elsewhere.

Hughes Construction was terrible. The crew that they sent was highly unprofessional they acted like school kids. They laughed and joked and didn't fix my air conditioner properly.
