Fence World

I called and someone came out to do the estimate. After that I had to wait for the insurance company to approve the estimate covering the car damage. I asked to have additional fencing replaced as part of the job. I paid for this personally. Fence World's estimate was approved by the insurance company, workers came and  took out the old fence, including fence posts. They installed new fence posts that same day. On a second day, workers came and installed the fencing itself. On a third day the caps for the fence posts were installed. I was pleased with the service, promptness and the follow through on the job.

I received the estimate on 12-6-06. The month of Dec. was unusually warm and I guess the fence company decided to do other jobs that were bigger. I called the sales manager, Dan Redden, several times and finally had arranged for the work to be done Dec. 27. No one showed up or called. Another date was set for Jan. 10 or 11. Again no one showed up and my many calls were not returned. I had given up on them when the owner of the company, James Downes, called me and apologized for the delay. The work was done on Jan. 25th in the coldest temperatures of the season. The finished work was acceptable. It's difficult to know if all necessary repairs were done since every thing is frozen. My old gate was replaced with a new gate, because it was just too much work to rebuild it. They did not charge me any more for the new gate. I would not recommend this company based on their lack of reliability. The price was good and the work was acceptable, but lacked attention to detail.
