EBM HEATING & COOLING
About us
Elvin Barr Morton started EBM Heating & Cooling in 1972, originally located in Cheektowaga near the old Apple Tree Mall. As business grew, the need for a larger building became evident. In 1988, EBM moved to its present location, 4114 Seneca St. in West Seneca, where we now have our 2200 square ft facility. Treating your home and equipment as if they were our own is how we have established our company's trust. The honest advice and faithful service customers receive from EBM is what keeps them coming back time after time again. Our purpose is to serve your equipment in order to extend its' life and efficiency, and ultimately SAVE you money! Quality products manufactured by Carrier and Amana are used for installation. Carrier is the largest manufacture of residential indoor environmental comfort products in the country. They have a full line of furnaces, air conditioners, thermostats, humidifiers, air filters and boilers. Amana also manufacturers a similar line including furnaces and air conditioners. EBM can service all of your existing household components including heating, air conditioning, pluming, electrical, mechanical and major appliances. EBM is continually training its staff to stay currant with the new technology and installation techniques so they can provide you with the whole house comfort. We have been trained by the Building Performance Institute (BPI). We are a factory authorized service company for Carrier. Our technicians are NATE certified, (North American Technician Excellence). For over 35 years EBM has proudly stood by its mission: "Not letting good be our best, we our committed to being honest and instilling trust as we serve." We look forward to being of service to you in the future as Tom Mehok, EBM's new owner, comes alongside and commits to proving the same quality service for another generation.

He did the best he knew how but didn't realize we were gonna get 74" or whatever.
+Oct the total was $635.
EBM came in and assessed the situation on May 25, 2012. He knew what had to be done but had to go through a learning curve with our current equipoment. He was more familiar with Carrier HVAC equipment than our Lennox HVAC system. Honeywell's instruction could have been better if it contrasted the difference between the PC 8900A and THX9421 wiring. It required about two hours on Friday, May 25, 2012 to get the A/C running. This was a relief since the Memorial Day weekend was brutally hot. On Tuesday, EBM returned and completed the installation. Went through the programming instructions and checked out the HVAC system. All went well and our HVAC system now appears to work better than ever. Since the owner supplied the THX9421, EBM had no part profit so the charges were a bit pricy. (labor cost $434.00) They were good at what they do, but I paid for it. Lessons learned is to have better diagnosed the PC8900A failure for it would have saved a lot of money. But on the bright side, The purchase of the THX9421and the expert installation by EBM may be a blessing since our HVAC system appears to be working much better than before.
