Terribly. It is really a nightmare. Everything you might hear about bad contractor happened to us. When Mr. Frank Dipaolo did renovation on the powder room, he did not turn the water supply lines completely closed and water started to leak. Eventually water leaked into basement, damaged basement ceiling and floor. He hired a subcontractor to install a jacuzzi tub and it has never worked. To make things even worse, they never installed an access panel. And now with all tiles already installed around the tub, we have to hire another contractor reinstall the tub and tiles. The worst thing is that he took our money and just disappeared, leaving tons of unfinished work behind, such as no shower doors installed, no mirrors, no shelves installed, no water supply to refrigerator, blocked drainage in kitchen, damaged marble floor, peeling paint on the wall in basement, damaged ceiling, just to name a few. All he asked for was money and money. At one point, he even threatened us to leave the job if we did not pay him in full. And he still left the job right after he received money. He did not answer my phone calls,. and when I tried to use my friend's phone to call him, he did answer the phone, but the moment he heard my voice, he just hanged up the phone. During this agonizing process, delay after delay, lie after lie, empty promise after another. He left us no choice but to take him to court.
