CARPET CASTLE INC

Kelly Meyers at Carpet Castle was fantastic. She really worked with us to find the carpet to install in our newly finished basement. We had a lot of questions and concerns and she answered all of them and gave us great advice. However, we did not like the installer. He tried to cut corners to make his job easier. When my husband challenged him, he came up with solutions that worked for both of us. If we had not challenged him, I don't think we would have been happy after the carpet was installed.

The installers showed up late the 1st day. When they arrived they got out of their van all smoking cigarettes with my new carpeting in the back. Once they began installing the carpet they proceeded to walk all over the new capreting with their wet dirty shoes. One of the installers used the bathroom and after they left for the day I found a hypodermic needle laying on the bathroom floor. Thankfully my 3 year old wasn't home to find it first. The 2nd day they returned late again and could not finish the installation because they said the carpet was too cold and could not be stretched. They were to return a 3rd day (sunday) to finish the job. I was ensured that this one day job would be finished by the third day. On Sunday the supervisor showed up late once again this time by himself. He told me he was not going to finish the job and that he was only there to do a couple of things. This 1 day job took over 1 week to finish and it looks horrible. can see the seams throughout.

We had purchased carpet and went with Castle to install it, but were not too satisfied with the results. The carpet is already showing a great deal of wear and tear. I think this may be the carpet. Needless to say if feel tricked.
