I am now working with another roofing contractor to repair the 8TH leak in this new roof (siding also done by CA Construction) which was initially done in Fall of 2013. The destruction caused to my home from all the leakage has been vast and expensive. As I write this, a portion of the new roof is being removed, along with layers of mold and rot caused by this faulty installation. Also drywall damage caused to ceilings in living room, master bedroom, lower stair landing, kitchen, walls, attic and pantry with all but the pantry ceiling left for repair. I was nearly killed when a 4' pipe shot through my kitchen ceiling from roof (standing feet away). A half hour later, another pipe shot through the pantry ceiling. At this time, I walked around outside of home with Roofer and pointed out defunct vents and pipes that should be removed to avoid any more breakthroughs in the ceilings. I have since learned that they simply cut off those pipes at roof level and they remain in the ceilings unattached to anything. I can assume now these are "ticking time bombs" that may or may not come through the ceilings eventually. After contacting GAF (roof shingles), it was determined by field expert that New York State codes were violated and just an overall shoddy job with no adherence to manufacturers install guidelines. I hold my breath now that the siding this company installed will last. I was not only subjected to lewd gestures and comments by the Owner, Alan Koscielniak but his employees, as well. And, I swear, at one point I smelled dope being smoked in my garage. These are truly unprofessional, unskilled and lewd people who should never have any opportunity to damage another's property as mine has been. The costs to correct this terrible workmanship is in the thousands of dollars already and continues to climb.
