BURGIO'S TV SVC

I got a call with diagnosis in two days. It was fixed the next day. Works great. Mr. Burgio was very pleasant to deal with. Price was reasonalbe.

Service was performed the next day! They had my TV part, they called ahead, were on time & professional. It literally took 5 minutes. Pleasant on phone & in person. Price was affordable too.

I brought it in and he he plugged it in. Right away he new it was the LCD display. There was no charge for the diagnosis.

Highly recommend calling Burgio's TV Service before you throw out your TV and buy a new one.

Called for service, he answered right away and made an appointment for the next morning. He showed up on time, had the lamp already prepared and installed it.

Very cordial, courteous and professional. Diagnosed problem quickly and provided reasonable quote for repair. Had work done promptly. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

The repair of my TVs went extremely well. I was able to call Paul Burgio at Burgio's TV Sale and Service before dropping the TVs off on Saturday morning which was very convenient. Paul was vey patient with me and another customer before me. I was not rushed and was able to explain the problem in layman's terms as best I could. As stated above the 27" Superscan was an older flatscreen ( and very heavy). The remote also was broken with this one which makes things more difficult to diagnose. I fully expected to scrap this TV but thought I'd give it one last shot with Paul and see what happens. To my surprise, Paul called the very next Tuesday to say both TVs were ready. The 27" Superscan TV was stuck on " closed captioning" mode. Paul was able to take it out of that mode without using the remote. The picture is back to normal and looks great . There was no additional cost. Only the original $35.00 diagnosis fee. I was extremely please and a TV that was destined for the junkyard is being used in our bedroom ! The second TV I brought in is a 32 " Sharp flatscreen. When I bought it refurbished from one of those dirt cheap TV stores the initial picture was fantastic. However after a day or so there was no picture, just audio. I had 30 days to bring it back to the original seller of this TV but I put the TV in a back room and forgot about it before it was too late to return. I was hoping Burgio's would be able to give me some good news. ( In other words, I was hoping Paul could fix it and not have it be cost prohibitive). Again , Paul came through ! The repair was vey unique one, even for him. It involved one of those tiny multi-pin harnesses. He was able to locate the problem and the result was a wonderful picture ! This TV is back in the living room and I'm watching it as I type this. The total cost of this repair was $136.00 ( this includes the initial $35.0 diagnostic fee). To me it well worth it. I have a great TV and did not have to shop all over again for a $300 - $400 TV. I am very pleased with my experience at Burgio's TV. Paul is very knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended Burgio's to friends and family.

TV is fixed, the TV gradually went down hill, with having to press on remote buttons hard to work, then it stopped working. So we had to use to buttons on side, then sometimes it would get stuck on logo on screen when starting up and would have to unplug and try again to turn on. Then eventually that stopped working and only logo would come on and it wouldn't finish powering on. It needed new board and remote sensor. It took 3+wks but worth the wait to have it back and cheaper than buying a new one.

It was simple and quick. All service was fast, neat and honest Paul Burgio is the owner and primary technician. His wife, who is very good, answers the phone and does the with scheduling. They are both a pleasure to do business.

I called in the late morning and he came out that same afternoon. When the TV was turned on it would click on and off about 10 or or more times before it would stay on. He obviously had seen this behavior before and he removed the back and the main circuit board and within a half hour had replaced some of the components. Put it all back together and it has been working fine since then. If you have any issues with your TV give Paul Burgio a call. You will be more than satisfied with the service.

He was scheduled by his wife to arrive btwn 8 - 12 and showed up around 10:30 or so. He introduced himself and I showed him the info I had found online and sure enough, that is exactly what the issue was. He got right to work and was finished about 10 -15 minutes later. While he had the set apart, he took it upon himself to clean the lens inside the screen and now the picture quality is so much better with colors being more vivid and clearer. He did something that he was not asked to do and did not charge anything extra! How long has it been since a service provider has done something like that? Let me think.....NEVER!! After his work was complete, we had a nice discussion about concrete driveways and home maintenance in general as he is very easy to talk to and very nice. He offered me insight into an issue I have with another company confirming what I had thought all along. I am so tired of having to deal with larger companies who do not take responsibility for their work, so it was such a pleasure to have Paul Burgio come over to fix my TV and provide a bit of conversation as well. Nice man and I would recommend him to anyone needing work done on their TV. Clean, hospitable, easy to talk to, punctual and didn't try to overcharge me like most companies do. He even cleaned the dust off the inside lens allowing my TV to have a better and brighter picture without being asked and without charging. Good Job Paul! You are now my TV go to person. I ALWAYS make it a habit of discussing with my many friends, neighbors and co-workers any type of service I have done in my house, both the good and the bad (horrible) experiences. It is a pleasure to finally have a positive story to tell them all!!

He was prompt, friendly and professional. All costs were up front. He made a house call so I did not have to lug my tv all over the world. I would certainly call him for all future television repairs. He also gave me tips on how to prolong the life of my television by dusting the air vents. Bravo.

Called Mr. Burgio for service on my Panasonic TV. When he found out if was only a few weeks out of warranty. He procceded to help me resolve with it Panasonic. I can't think of the last time an individual invested so much time and energy to help. Mr. Burgio could have just repaired it and billed me. Instead his calls to Panasonic has resolved my issue.

TV died right before Christmas and we had out of town guests. Mr. Burgio came right out on Christmas Eve and fixed it very quickly and could not have been more pleasant. We will always call them for any needed repairs in the future. We did not get any other estimates but given the cost of these bulbs, I'm sure this was a fair price.

Took my TV in because it would not turn off. Mr. Burgio kept it for several days and observed it and honestly told us that it was probably a backlighting board and it could be fixed but would actually cost more than it was worth even though the TV is only a few years old. I appreciated the honesty and only had to pay for the service charge.

Our TV went dark and I wasn't sure if we could fix it or if we had to buy a new one. I called Paul Burgio at Burgio's and he is a total pro. He makes house calls but we dropped it off at his shop. He is a super good guy--honest and up front. We paid a deposit, he quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered a part, and we picked the TV up earlier than expected. It works perfectly. He kept us informed and treated us so well. I wish more businesses were like his. Fantastic!
